Hey Crystal, great question, you absolutely can! Also, that is a great idea as the paper will generally be more expensive than the ink so I also keep a couple of regular copy sheets nearby for this.
Thanks for watching! The inks and the bulk tank system were designed together so that makes it harder to use any third party ink, also the print head was designed for this particular ink so no guarantees on the longevity of the printer if using third party ink
Depending on the transfer paper there are a few that can be run through the machine, like our Summit HTV (www.imagingspectrum.com/summit-subli-htv-printcut-transfer-paper-8.5-x-11-50-sheets-sumhtv8511-50.html) however we have found more luck and color accuracy with a two step process, so cutting your blank HTV first and applying to your garment, then printing onto the standard Epson transfer sheet and sublimating onto the already cut HTV you have applied to the garment, hope this helps
We of course recommend Epson Multi-purpose but you can run any sublimation paper through here, I know A-sub is a popular one. Just one thing to consider, since the Epson paper was formulated for the printer the dry times and colors have been optimized. While you can still achieve great results with third party paper you may need to adjust a few print settings for best results. Hope this helps!
Hey Jose, thanks for watching! When running the head alignment will it give you the print out of the squares? If it is not letting you run the head alignment I want to make sure you are taken care of so here is a support number if you are still having any issues, hope this helps 562-276-1305
@mchenfoto they have Epson Edge Print which comes select printers. In your case if you are looking at dye sublimation printers it would come with the Epson SC F570 a 24 in sublimation printer.
