I apologize if this is a dumb question but I’ve never installed a printer. My husband always did this and he passed away last year and now I’m here not knowing anything about this. Barely learning. You can try uninstalling and then reinstall the the printer to your computer. It’s fine if the ink is already in it. If you are having trouble with the colour of your images this video may help ua-cam.com/video/zCRAN3Gc5y4/v-deo.html
Great tutorial! I’m struggling with the colors not being true (pink is red & teal is blue). Seems like your purple image is also a different shade/color than original.

What pc or Mac would be best for the printer I can’t get my laptop to print or my phone to print after I did the setup I did wireless connection and I still can’t print 😢
hi i have this printer as well but I'm trying to do a sublimation with tv font on a dark t shirt. Where can i find the other settings such as paper type (matte presentation), etc. I see on all these youtube videos I'm watching. Epson doesn't; seem to be much help imo.
i just got mine and i was told there is no such thing as those kind a paper since this printer is designed for sublimation you dont need to worri about that, printer already knows you are using sublimation paper.... not sure how true is that but thats what i was told 🙅
You can’t print directly but can can apply Heat sublimation transfer vinyl first and sublimate on top. There are a lot of videos. I’m trying as I text. Pray for me 😂
I currently don’t have a video on that but that’s a great idea. I havnt tried myself yet but I imagine it’s not much different than loading 8.5x11, maybe just leave the paper drawer flap open.
I tried it. Printing from acrobat, in airprint i setup a new paper format to match the size of my paper and image. Then when i print it, it only prints right to the spot where the letter format ends. It sucks! I think its because the driver of the f170 only enables you for three formats, and that is dismissing the airprints settings. Ar least i cant find any other reason. Mac is ruining it for us to print on the f170!! I also tried the dtf hack but as i cannot adjust paper thickness or ink density, you just cannot get around it. In this case its better to use a pc or buy a random epson not meant for sub. 😢

It would be your computer password. The one you use when you open your computer. All the best as you challenge yourself to learn new things!

My red is printing yellow and none of the colors are printing right. How do I fix this?

You may need to call Epson directly if you’re having trouble getting it to connect.

I have not had that issue. Does it happen with every image or just certain ones? Could it be the resolution of the image you are using.
