thank you, my parents first dishwasher was bough in the 80s and they hated it, they are getting old and im going to gift them one, this helped me consider some points
cheers man buying my mum a dishwasher for her bday today and watching this before surprising her with a shopping visit . I feel prepared and informed thanks to you :)
I would add a strong, stronger, caution to measure opening very carefully if installing under counter. It may not be a problem but - also possibly a boon. 😁 Armed with exact measurements in hand I've been able to slash the number of products dowm to a more manageable list. I'm very glad to see you showing the same or close to what I have been most impressed with. Well done. 🙂
Thx this was very helpful. I'm looking for a cream colored dishwasher which is almost impossible to find! Only Smeg which is over 3 times the amount I want to spend.
However, I have found a way to possibly get around having to buy a color that isn't the same as my other appliances. There are these things called skins or even just appliance decals that come in various colors/designs. Some are merely sticky and others are magnetic (optimum). So I'm trying to find an artsy design to go with my taste and pep up the kitchen a bit. And a company that will deliver to France. Nice option though.
I have a beko that cost me £200 around 3 years ago . The only reason I bought it at the time is it was to replace a dishwasher right before Christmas when I was broke and it was the only cheaper model I could get delivered in time. It’s quiet and the half hr wash is really good and the one I use most days. We have loads of Beko in this house now- my dishwasher and fridge freezer. In my daughter’s annexe she has beko under-counter fridge and freezer and hob.
Unfortunately it is a brand we don't actually deal with. miele offer great appliances, but for us Siemens and Bosch appliances are a lot more popular, so we don't stock Miele anymore.
Man, It's so expensive to get a dishwasher I had to have a 2-3 year long relationship with it and spend a literal fortune just to get it with no additional installation costs
If you have a high spec dishwasher then it will be well insulated for sound. Also as they use less water nowadays there is not as much chance for the sloshing noises. Great question thanks
@@lords-electrical you're welcome and i think it's rather high spec considering I paid £400.00 for it and it's a 14 place setting and has A++ efficiency. It only uses 10 litres of water per cycle.
@@SiemensPowerHour700 Depends on what you understand by that. Most of the insulation is there to protect the kitchen furniture, especially the countertop...and yes, usually all brands and models, regardless of price have some form or degree of _insulation_ . This may come as a surprise but that insulation isn't very helpful for the drying stage as the stainless steel tub need to cool down fast in order to act as a "condenser". Again 400£ sounds more like a midrange unless you got it at massive discount.Care to share the model?

Thank you for the dishwasher buying guide video!
Fantastic review, thanks!
Good video, thanks. A query I have relates to the detergent tablets used. Are there units that clean dishes well using less aggressive detergents?
Excellent video thanks
Thank you! Great video!
I wonder how useful is the self clean function 🤔

Yes unfortunately cream is not too popular a colour in appliances now

I use a lot the quick wash. Any tips. Thx
Can you go from integrated one to freestanding one?
would have to cut the base plank. But other than that is there anything else.
yes you can, as you say just cut the base plank and as long as the machine will fit in the space then you should be ok.
@@lords-electrical Thanks mate.

Do you need finish cleaner when you use machine care program
Not normally. Doing a high temperature wash is normally good enough
xOne thing I like to have is half load wash, so I don’t have to wait till it’s fully load to use it.
Super
What do the symbols means on a Kenwood dishwasher kdw60w20 please
How about the inner body or bottom tub. SOme comes with plastic and some comes with steel which is recommended
Normally a full stainless steel is better as it is stronger against items being dropped on it. plastic can crack quite easily
Nice
Hi,how much bill cost come water and electricity please tell me. Thankyou so much nice advice. 👍👌🙂❤🇧🇩🇬🇧
He has another video which covers cost per load.
Hello, great video. I was just wondering why you don't cover Miele?

400£ sounds more like midrange.
@@artyerty35 would a mid range have sound insulation
