Hi! I actually did a lot of digging and found a hairstyle that was close as possible to this. Then just explained a part or two I wanted shorter or longer (Asking the hairstylist to start off the style a bit longer and work their way shorter can help) also used my hands to describe/show the desired shortness/length.
