Got my fobs from Amazon watched your vid and it worked perfectly. Thanks for sharing.
You're Welcome! Glad it helped
i will try this for sure in my 2005 Trailblazer.. Thanks for sharing!
You're Welcome!
Just did mine simple easy and they wanted to charge me $50 to program each remote
Awesome worked perfectly for 3 remotes! Had to redo it once because I forgot to reprogram the one remote I had and so programmed all three the second time since the new programming rendered the initial one obsolete, but no worries. Now they all work great. Thanks!
Great to hear!
Thanks you so much I had a 2004 Chevrolet trailblazer and it work perfectly, following step by step, thanks you again 🙏
Clear simple instructions and directly to the point. Thank you

Did it exactly, but the vehicle did not cycle as you said it would when I released the unlock button.
Thank you very much! Great video, Very helpful to the point and worked like a charm!

Hi there thanks for sharing the video!
I tried step by step like you did but not programmed!
Thank you for sharing that helps a lot show us that you're a good man
You're Welcome! I appreciate that
Perfect! You made it simple and easy. Thank you kind sir!
You’re welcome!
Great video. Instructions were very clear. However, I replaced the keyless entry module because it stopped working. When I tried to program my key fobs with a module I removed from a junk car it didn’t work. Please help
Im not sure on that - Ive never changed the actual module
Thank you for responding back. Since my question, I’ve learned once the key fob is programmed with the vehicles keyless entry module they cannot be reprogrammed with another module, at least not without taking it to the dealer for reprogramming, and then, you’re going to be expected to fork over an upwards of $150.00.
Thank you sooooo much. We owe you a dinner and movie. 🥰
Glad it helped!
Thank you so much it was really helpful.
It works. My remote kinda worked. this procedure made it work better.
You are a saint.

Fantastic! Thought my fob was dead but nope!
Glad it helped!
Mine made all the sounds that it was supposed to. Even after I hit unlock and lock to program remote yet it still won’t work. It’s brand new
Same here 😔
What if I just replaced my key fob battery because it started fading out.
Now 2 days later, tons of videos later. This is the 3rd video that shows this method.
However, I can not get it to reset.
Why won’t this work for me. 😌
06 Chevy Equinox.
Just got my fobs today from us remote by Amazon I followed all the steps… but didn’t work 😢😢😢😢

Anton know how to program it to unlock all the doors with one push?
Can I use same method for 2013
Thank you so much every guide in looked up wouldn't work
You're Welcome!
i tried it on my 2006 trailblazer, didnt work for some reason it seems to be leaving programming mode quickly, tried more then 1 remote and none worked, anyone got an idea how to fix this?
Great vid. Thanks!
You're Welcome!
Thanks
You're Welcome!
Woe! You are Daman man!!
I meant wow! Now, how do I get drivers window up on 2007 Chevy Trailblazer? I could be wrong but I don't think it's the motor. It went down, but not up. I changed the control panel and still won't go up.
thanks so much for sharing. I have a question and I think your video answers but want to triple check. Today I lost the factory key and key fob, I had a spare key but would like a key fob as well. Can I just order one of these affordable replacements then use my spare key and follow your steps?? or due you need the OEM key or fob near by when programing a "new set of spares" Again big thank you for the video and any help or suggestions to solve my issue
Yes, you can do that - as long as the spare key works for the vehicle.
@@PYR-Auto thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Fantastic video and you are really helping out so many people in terms of money and stress, much respect.
Thank you,it work 👍
You're Welcome!
Do you know how to do the emission plug way.Pins 4 and 8.Cant find the process.
My key fob does not say which button is unlocked or locked because they're worn out can you please please please please please please please please please please please tell me which buttons I have a automate key fob I got two big ones on top for I look at it upside down or right side up and two little buttons on the bottom one is red in color
Worked on my tahoe but not my trailblazer any ideas
Its the same process for both vehicles but its just not reading my new fobs w new battery
Does the trailblazer already have working remotes? Are you sure it has the factory remote option?
Mines either don’t work
Change the button pad. Mine was worn, and dust off the casing.
my truck continues to cycle for a 2nd time for some reason.... and i do exactly what u do on this video.... hikd the unlock and lock for almost 4-5 mins and nothing. 🥴
I'm having the same issue, did you figure out the solution?
Man, I'm having the same issue too. Does your back hatch also not lockM
@@unreconstructed mines do lock either
Same issue here, wondering if there is a way to go around this, it just cancels the programmi gmode by itself
Any work arounds
This didn't work for my 07 trailblazer sadly not sure if I need a new remote
Didn't for me either, tried it with a new fob too. Did you ever figure it out?
Does this work on a trailblazer that didn't previously come with a remote?
Yes - if the trailblazer has the factory remote option installed. If you are unsure if it has the option - take your VIN number and call a GM dealership. Speak with their part's department and they can look up the original build sheet for the vehicle to see what options it has.
I can’t find a replacement fob for my trailblazer. I only find 3 button fobs online. I am pretty sure it’s factory installed remote start and not third party
The 3 button fobs are way more common but that remote does come in a 4 button version as well from the factory. You can verify that it is a factory system by taking your VIN number and calling a GM dealership. Speak with their parts department and they can look up the original build sheet for your vehicle to see what options it has.
@@PYR-Auto so then, on 4 button remotes, if it has remote start, did GM also offer that? Or is a remote start on one of these remotes a dead give away that it's aftermarket?
Does it work for 2001
yes this will work on the 2001 S-10 Blazer
I bought new FOBs for my 2005 trailblazer and 2003 envoy. Everything goes smoothly until the part of holding down the 2 buttons. Nothing happens on either vehicle...
sounds like there may be an issue with the new fobs if the vehicles are going into programming mode but just not responding to the fobs
@@PYR-Auto they must be bad cause I got another set and they don't with either
Will this work on 2007?
Yes
Can’t get it to work for my 02 trailblazer any ideas? The doors cycle with the on and off but the key fob isn’t connecting maybe I need a different battery or something
Since you are getting the vehicle into programming mode but the fob is not responding, it sounds like an issue with the fob. A new battery for the fob would be the first place to start.
Program Your Remote I tried that. The car goes into programming mode and the cycles again as if it’s ending programming mode. I don’t know what else to try. Any ideas?
@@mauricemcmillian1791 i have the same problem with my 06' it goes into programming mode but seems to leave it as soon as i get into it
@@PYR-Auto tried new battery, nothing
@@mauricemcmillian1791 mine is doing the same thing, any suggestions
Can you do this with blank remotes?
I'm not sure what you mean by blank remotes?
If you mean new replacements like from Amazon or eBay yes. I got a 2 pack from Amazon and programmed one for my `03 Trailblazer.
Even after market remotes ??
This procedure is for the factory installed systems and will only work on the factory remotes or aftermarket remotes that are factory replacements
When I successfully program the second remote it de-programs the first remote. What an I doing wrong? 2005 Trailblazer.
You need to re-program in the first remote after the second remote. If you look at the steps in the description box of the video, you repeat step 10 for each remote.
Need program 2 controls .
Oh my God this was better than sex. Totally worked
Work trailblazer 2013?
No
Where could I get a fob?
check out bit.ly/CarAndTruckRemotes
You can get a 2 pk at Amazon for $20 worked for me and they are new ones.
mine refuses to pair any ideas?
is the vehicle going into programming mode? If yes and the remote is not responding - then there may just be an issue with remote
@@PYR-Auto the lock cycles before the lock button is released its a bcm problem, im gonna put a new alarm system on it
Didn't work for me.Didnt do the cycle when turning off and on,just stayed in unlock.Any ideas?
What year is your trailblazer?
@@PYR-Auto 2004.Also tried the headlights and worked briefly.
I know it can be frustrating but I would suggest varying the speed in which you doing the steps (try faster if that doesn't work try slower ) some vehicles are more sensitive than others and may take several attempts. In between attempts, remember remove the key and open and close the drivers door a couple times to "reset" before trying again.
@@PYR-Auto Thanks so much for your help.I just found about the codes in the glove compartment.AU3.No remote unlock.:(
Or AO3.not by the glove box as I type this.
🎉😊
Mines not working at all and it had one before I replaced the bcm
Does not sork
