@@shengshi3128 9 inch front wheels, 10.5 rear. I could have used 11 rear but I wanted to have the wheels nicely fit my other 981 as well. No rubbing at all, the diameter of these is less than the stock 20 inch tires
@@shengshi3128 Yeah, 3.0 front 2.5 rear. But I use front camber plates to tuck in the top of the wheel a bit more than if you just use shims. That said with the smaller 19 setup there's plenty of clearance anyway
Hey! What are you thinking about the tyres? My 3 years old AD08R I had on the Miata are dead and I keep hearing bad stuff about the new AD08rs' compound. I'm thinking about moving up to the A052s even tho I'm a little worried about the mileage and the price being quite a step up.
Bonjour old friend! A052 are my favourite road legal tire now for sure. There's just so much grip and they balance the car nicely. For daily use, hard to say. I imagine they will wear a lot faster than the AD08R. I drove them on the road a bit and found them pretty comfy and work well fully cold (better than cup2) but if not on a racetrack I think they may be too extreme for daily use.
So that thing is 6 seconds quicker than your 981 GTS? 😲 Awesome driving, you know the track and the car - it shows! Happy with the A052? I have a new set of those for my 981CS that I'm going to use next weekend, hoping for a good feeling.
The 052 are spectacular. You'll love them. A bit less direct feeling than cup2 but they hold on to the pavement a lot better. Hard to compare times with the 981 GTS as they were never run in similar trim and tires. On slicks the 981 with the 3.8 was still quite a bit quicker.
Nice driving.
Super clean✅
Sounds incredible! -Mike
Nice driving man! How do you like the A052? Are they running bit wider?
I love them, but despite what people say they seem to be pretty much exactly the size it says on the side when you measure them 🤷♂️
@@JCviggen1 I wonder what size of rim are you running? Have you had the rubbing issue so for?

@@JCviggen1 nice that’s exact size I ordered for my car. Are you running aggressive camber now?
