  • Building the flaperon assembly for the Zenith CH 750 takes just very simple skills and tools now that parts are supplied utilizing final hole size match-drilled technology (STOL CH 750 Super Duty flaperon shown here).

Pretty amazing how accurate the match hole system is. Comes out perfect every time. All you are doing is simple assembly now. The airframe must come together very quick.

I am glad that the match drilled flapperon kit has worked all the transitional kinks out. It should make it a lot easier for the end user. Looks good.

Wow the Finial size matched drilled sure speeds things up, I spent longer than that just deburing holes. 3 more to go, me to, but first I have to edit some video of Jon and Tim's Zeniths at the LoneStar STOL competition.

I wish they'd update the plans to match the kit, some parts have changed to incorporate some of the Super Duty features. It took me a while the figure out how the new parts fit.

We're currently working on that. Sometimes our production team gets ahead of us! We continually (and progressively) update the kit parts to make them easier and quicker to put together. Call us anytime you have questions (this also reminds us to update the instructions)

@@zenithac thanks, I am going to be starting the wings scratch built, I bought the slat kit, so I have the new mounts, my plans for the wings show the old mounts. I need to wait till an update comes out so I can make the new design slat brackets for the wings.

Just wondering-are you guys building another factory demonstrator Super Duty, or are you just building a flaperon for demonstration purposes?

No deburring required? Its the most tedious part of a build.

Save your soup cans to drop your rivet stems into.

People need a plane with retractable wings to park the plane in a small place. Is this possible, dear Zenith engineers?
