Miss Abbie, At one point in the interview, you mentioned "Why do I do this?"... If I may answer from my point of view. When I buried my first-born three days after she was born, (as she died due to complications at birth) I did not turn from God, I ran, and never looked back. Decades later, I hear this young lady singing on UA-cam. It was you. The song..."Hey Soul (Oh My Soul). For lack of a better description, it smacked me right in the face, and soul. Have I turned back, I won't lie, No. But what I have done is open a space small enough to let your message in. Just remember this, when you're leading worship in the Church, there are those of us listening, still hiding in our darkness...and we, with our whole heart, appreciate you. When I post, "God Bless Miss Abbie", that is my way of asking God to bless you, as much as you bless those of us. Thank you, The Truth.

This album has done exactly that. It's given me permission. And it's drawn me so much closer to the Lord thru ut
One thing I've always liked about Upperroom (and Abbie) is that they remain fresh with their songs... they don't follow set musical formulas like what other megachurches do. Them quotes near the end about being authentic, and the irony of secular music adapting and not just copying the same formula reminded me of that.
I just love her worship songs.. it just leads me into the presence of the Holy Spirit.. yes God is using her music 🎶
