I saw these really cool infinity mirrors on UA-cam and had to build one for myself. I thought why not do it on my plain boring IKEA coffee table? So here is how I built my Infinity Mirror Coffee Table!

Question: what did you put on the glass? Window tint? Mirror Tint? What was it exactly?
well he doesnt tell us cus of the music he just shows up not even wat it is and what it does oh you just put it on glass and cut around the glass thats nice but you could speak next time
Solar paper ... Kinda like a double sided mirror . See through on 1 side and a normal mirror in the other

Crap material selection, rough crude cuts, exposed rough ply cut edges, brought uneven install of led rope, general slap dash workmanship. Other then all that, great. Wanted to see what LED rope look like in an infinity mirror. Seal edges and good for backyard deck. Your wife let you put that in the living room?

yea good video but it would of helped if you didn't use music and actually told people what to do instead of just expecting people to know how to cut and what to use next time you do one of these dont use music just talk and explain to people

A for effort, but that's not the proper way to make an infinity table close but the real ones are much nicer IMO
DOOOOOPE! My grandmother used to have a small Infinity Mirror for the wall in the hallway that had small, VERY OLD, yellow-ish bulbs.. you know the ones, tiny with a pointed tip. Anyway, I never could figure out how it was made. Always thought it was cool.

I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!

It's a window tinting film you can buy from home Depot. I've used it on my sliding glass door because it faces the sun all day and bakes my home. I'm sorry I can't remember the brand.
I am no good at diy and have not work with wood for some time now so can’t remember a lot now as it is geting in to be 6 years I think

I'm diffidently doing this table myself, I love the idea. But come on.. you seam like a craftsman, buy proper tools and your quality will be way better. ;)
Can you place the light strip high in the cavity at the beginning, gradually ending at the bottom? Would it be an endless swirl?
Now make those black gloves reaching up from the bottom, wiggling..... to your music.
This time I will do it manually with the help of Woodglut designs.
Would have been much better with written instructions below while showing what was beinng done rather than having to guess at what was actually being done.

too long,no info on materials,why not just use a mirror base instead of glass & film,??.you need a screw gun,&,laser tools are crap.
The bottom mirror is a normal one, the top one needs to be a see-through one which you need to make with foil. It's all logic, think about it.
@@MrBeeman777 see-through. you have no idea what you are doing yourself. it is normal glass, with a foil that reflects one way and lets light pass through with the other side. in this case the reflecting side is the one with the leds giving it the infinity mirror illusion.
