Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where in todays video I wanted to share with you the Korean skincare awards 2024 and the best korean skincare brands when it comes to your skincare routine.
There is so much choice when it comes to korean skin care, it can sometimes become overwhelming so in this video I want to share with you my annual list of the best korean skincare brands and the best korean skin care products they have to offer. Helping you to find the right products when it comes to your skincare routine.

I love this video. I love Korean skincare and some of the Korean make up. I have been using it long before it was popular. This helps so much because you didn’t mention so many products that it became overwhelming. I did buy the Numbuzin niacinamide cloths a while ago. I’m very interested in many of the products.
Just got obsessed with Korean skincare this year. Now I'm also obsessed with the medicube wand. They really are light years ahead of everyone else.
I still need to try the medicube as I havent yet but I have it on the list.. love x

Missha Tinted BB cream with SPF is great too. It’s mineral based sunscreen and it’s so pretty on the skin.

I newly discovered Kbeauty and Im already in the rabbit hole lol I want to assemble a product routine with minimal amounts of products, but it is soo hard to decide. Especially when it comes to toners the range of amazing and affordable options is endless. Like I thought I had an idea and then I saw the 50 fermented ingredients in the numbuzin no3 toner and then I saw videos about how amazing the no3 serum is. I feel overwhelmed 😂😂😂 but in a positive sense

I love the Skin1004 brand and I agree that the Pore minimising ampule you mentioned is great, I am using it as well.
I think its one of the best peptides on the market for sure.. sending you lots of love x
I'm currently trying Korean skincare and lots of their products are great. For winter and skin barrier care I love the Torriden yellow line products. And the funny thing is that light western creams are never enough caring and moisterizing for my skin but some Korean brands are! I love the Unik beta glucan moisture cream and it's lightweight but very nurturing for the skin.
I get lots of allergic reactions to western brands but hardly ever from a Korean brand.
And the price point of the Korean products is so much more affordable than even western drugstore brands, it's almost unbelievable.

Wow, loved this video. I have been researching all the products you recommend and I am very surprised at the price points! The skin care I am using was recommended by my beautician and it is easily 10-15 times the price of some of these products. I love Korean skincare but it can get confusing which brands & products to buy (I use BOJ). I'm so glad you mentioned tranexamic acid as I've been wanting to add this into my routine to help with my hyperpigmentation but also need the anti-ageing benefits for my mature (melanated skin). I've been using Azelaic acid, thanks to you for introducing of this product in a previous videos 😘. I love the sound of the Numbuzin Vitamin concentrate and Skin1004 product but could you tell me if you use Azelaic acid and tranexamic acid in the same routine? Thanks!
HELL YEAH I LOVE MARY AND MAY!! I’ve been using their bifida lotion for about a year now and it has become one of my holy grail moisturizers!!

Definitely K-Secret No.1 with Skin 1004 and Numbuzin up there too! Loved this video and love Korea skincare! I also find the numbering system of Numbuzin totally confusing! Those Skin 1004 30ml bottles are great for traveling and you can always top them up from the larger bottles.

i managed to guess 3/5 correctly! Other honorable mentions: Torriden, Purito, Isntree. So many products of theirs that I love and are budget-friendly too.
11:54 - That is a genius idea with the pumps😮I'm recently using the Aveeno calm and restore serum and am really enjoying the quality of the pump. Might do this next time. How do you clean the pump before reusing?
I just got the Sukoyaka urea toner and it’s pretty fabulous.
Thanks for the rec!! My skin LOVES urea! I feel like it’s such an under-utilized ingredient but it always leaves my face baby smooth!
@@abigailgnome2117 It’s one ingredient that does not get the credit it deserves. It’s the one ingredient I can feel a difference with very shortly after using. I’m embarrassed about how I discovered it, but it was an expired ultra rich foot cream that my dad had unused in his stash. 20% urea I thought would help my tired and dry Canadian winter skin. I was honestly desperate. Baby soft skin. I only buy it in face products now, but I was sold.

Great list Rob. I always enjoy these top 5 lists. There are so many great K beauty options and thankfully overall they are affordable. Are you going to review the new Numbuzin spin off brand Flaskin? Just heard about it and am intrigued . And I too ignore the numbers.

I like all the Korean skincare videos, starting to get into them. On my raise I was able to visit olive young, it was in a mall so much smaller and the mall had 3 hahaha. Wish I could read Korean might hav been more fun, but gggot Goodall dark spot serum an unmuzzling 3 toner ((yes the number is confusing, I go by ingredients in them)

Just received Skin1004 tone brightening capsule ampoule, Secret Key starting essence, Numbuzin concentrated serum and water sunscreen. Never tried any of these before. Hi there. I also dislike Numbuzin's numbering system. As you say, my brain doesn't compute. I think I still haven't bought anything from that brand because my skin is sensitive and I might get it wrong. So yes, I hope they change this system ASAP. Love your videos ❤

Even in Seoul i couldnt find all products of k secret. Just the serum and one of the two sunscreens. No store had the eye patches. Really wanted to buy after watching ur review of it.

I resisted buying from the Korean skincare market for a long time, which was a huge mistake. Now, I’m buying the kinds of products that have never been available to me before and loving them. Gentle skincare is exactly what I need.

Jin jung sung is a smaller brand with just a few products but it's all great. Also into the skin food propolis and royal jelly line.

Ooh I’ve been wanting to try some more egf products but I never stumble across people doing reviews of coxir for some reason? I think it must be a relatively new brand. I’m glad to hear someone likes it! Maybe I’ll have to check it out!

All i know is that I saw a video here in You Tube but don’t remember who mentioned the EGF. That is how I became aware and ordered from STYLEVANA.

My biggest gripe with skin1004 is that they have no pump version. I don't want my products to be exposed to the air multiple times a day. The cosrx snail dual essence is less sticky and doesn't peal as the OG version

I want to try the blue Mary and May calming cream and now that TA eye cream you menationed...
I had really high expectations from Skin1004, but that Hyalu-Cica sunscreen makes me look super greasy and shiny. Worst looking korean sunscreen out of the 5 I tried.
My favorite brand is Haruharu. The sunscreen is perfect. Oil cleanser, toner and mist are perfect. Even the cotton pads that are shaped like eye patches are perfect because I like to use eye patches in the morning. Either that or Heimish Matcha Eye Patches :)
Honestly. How does the numbuzin sunscreen feel compared to your mad about skin sunscreen?
they have a similar texture, I would say the MAS one is more hydrating but they work in the same way and have a similar finish.. love x
I used the mary and may eyecream but it didnt work unfortunately. Tretinoin works better!
Can you recommend something for irritated skin on the face?
A medication that I took gave me a skin allergy
My skin barrier feels dry and irritated on my face
I would go for the vegreen cica serum, super gentle and really will help with the skin barrier. love x

Mary & May are so hit and miss & its all around their horrid scents . The eye cream has a great inci list , but the strong old lady scent has no place in an eye cream . The stand outs from them are their serums ; non fragranced , the peptide serum , idebanone serum and cream are fantastic .
I get mixed up with the names!!! I use beauty of joseon the spf 50+ plus it has niacidemide etc... nearly finished Howdon I order please, I've never ordered by phone before!

I have to say that my issue with Korean skincare is that there are so many brands and so many products that deciding on products becomes so confusing! I appreciate your best of videos for k-beauty, but overall I have to take a pass on k-beauty as it is just too overwhelming.
I do get that Tom, I think its a case with K-Skincare of when you find something which works for you stick with it as there is always something new or different it can become a little much.. love x

You should type the name of the products on the screen while your reviewing them. It’s impossible to write these products down with the correct spelling of the products. Thanks. 👍🏼
He has all the exact products written with links and with time stamps in the description. I know what you mean, though, I like to take a screenshot of the product so I can go back later, and the influencers that have the product info on the screen make it so much easier. Anyway, hope that helps .
