I met Peter today, October 15 as he raked needles in front of his house here in Spokane getting ready for his departure to warmer climates down in the Gulf Coast told him my story of how I first heard get ready and bought his 45 in 1970 and he was very gracious. I got a picture and he gave me a key ring with that same logo. It was back behind them during that interview. Great Guy!

I was a fan of their " Radio Hits ", but never took the time to delve into their music, until recently. I'm Blown Away !!!! I missed out on , one of the Greatest Sounds, in Music History ! Very UNDERRATED Band.
Peter Rivera, Burton Cummings, Steve Perry, Lou Graham, Gary Morris (country), and Franke Previte, (song- ‘Sweetheart’) were some great voices during my life. I was lucky to be alive.
The years 1970 to 1972 (plus a reappearance in the top 40 in 1978) wouldn't have been the same without these guys. Sadly most of them are gone now (I think Pete is one of just two survivors of the original 1970 lineup) Favorite song; "Hey Big Brother" in late 1971. It was great to be young in those days.
