I totally agree with you. We buy R c's to play with them. And have fun, but everybody's worried about breaking them or getting them wet. That's the whole point Right Anyways, another great video, man.
Having had one of these, got to say it was a blast, go anywhere type of machine, I loved it so much I didn't replace it either, just modified it into a Built E-Revo , now it buries my Stock Sledge ,
Yea it’s al still fully functional as the summit, just with regearing and a vxl-6s and a velineon 2200kv . It’s basically rebuilt, rpm suspension everywhere, upgraded rockers, arms and links, aluminum diff cases , metal driveline, and list goes on and on and on , running proline big Joes or trencher hp , and e-revo quick latch body setup.
@@RCKnockout haven’t broken much other then failed stereering servos so far, most of time I’m on 4s , as most places I go are smaller pits so I run higher mah with the dual 2s for longer run time and is still a blast, 6s is when I’m in larger dirt trails, fields etc, were I can actually open it up .

Lots of cool boating with the Summit. They discontinued the Summit? Why? Does it really have slow crawling capabilities compared to the TRX4's? Please share if you don't mind. Thanks for your time and reply,.
Yeah it has a two speed transmission with an excellent crawl ratio! I can only assume it was discontinued because more people are interested in buying high speed brushless machines…also possibly because it was so outdated…I think it was around for over 15 years maybe more….hopefully they do release something similar to take it’s place though
@@RCKnockout Quick question: What’s your #1 gripe with it, as well as your #1 rave? Hoping they do come out with something creative and competitive in this space. Thank you again. 😎👊
@@flhandster4395 the diffs are very weak and hard to access for repair…also the machine isn’t durable to bash fast and take big jumps….the positives are that it’s super capable crawling and it’s super fun for light bashing with the stock power level
No I believe it’s stock gearing….i bought it second hand so I’m not 100% sure though….it could just be from the big tires….on pavement it’ll still pop a wheelie
That summit is mad impressive, looks like a blast to drive!
Yeah it definitely is extremely capable and fun to drive!
2e hands zijn ze rond de 350-400 en dan heb je een vrij nette hoor
Awesome boating skills my friend 😂, happy RCing Nolan thanks for the smile!
That pretty much sums it up! Lol 😂
Glad you were entertained!

Appreciate it! Yeah I definitely buy mine to use them
Sad that they discontinued it.. came close about 6 months ago on a purple one never pulled the tigger...it will live as a epic classic
Yeah it’s very unfortunate that it’s discontinued….maybe if we’re lucky they’ll come out with a 2.0 or another comparable machine
@@RCKnockout your reading my mind lol would be great 👍
@@rcjoe406 yeah hopefully they’ll come out with something similar at least
This weekend I'm building a RC10 B6.4 buggy, I'm going to attempt to drive it at the indoor tracks
Nice! Sounds cool! 😎

Of all the crawlers, the summit is the only one i really like.
It’s my favorite crawler too! Just fast enough to have fun and it’s probably the most capable Rc right out of the box!
