There is tremendous power in praise and worship, but we do tend to forget when the storm hits, until God or a faithful friend reminds us. I’m praying for you and for your family.

Good morning, Crystal! Thank you for sharing such a tender, heartfelt video. It is a great reminder to turn to Him when life gets rough and our hearts are worn and weary. It's also something to ponder over the coming week as our nation's future hangs in the balance. He is in control, and we will praise Him and trust Him regardless of the outcome. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your heart with us. I am praying for you and your family.🙏🥰

Good morning, Crystal. I've also found that singing to God is a great antidote for the hard things. I went thru a season a couple of winters ago where the grief of family members who'd died unexpectedly, all the 2020 garbage and its fallout, and a bunch of other deaths and broken relationships among church friends, had me to the point where I was starting to be crippled by fear of losing my kids and/or husband. While I did pray, and asked others to pray for me, just forcing myself to sing along with pieces like Handel's Messiah, as well as to old hymns, gospel standards, and some praise songs, managed to force the pain and tears to the surface where I could let it go. It took a few weeks, but the Lord used the songs to drain the pain from my heart. Yes, I still worry a bit (but normal levels of worry!), and when I realized we'd hit the 5yr anniversary of family members' deaths, it burned (and still does), but the power of those hurts is manageable.
I'll add your family onto our prayers for a while. ❤
I hope you have a good weekend. 🙂

I’m sorry you’ve gone through so much grief and loss 😞. Singing along with praise songs and hymns does drain the pain and for me it lifted my heart and gave me hope. Thank you sharing and for the prayers. 💞💞

Oh Crystal I could tell how hard this was for you to share. I will be praying for you and the situation. We can be minding our business and keeping our home but sometimes situations or people's bad behavior intrudes, and this is totally out of our control. I started to share something last week about our purpose as empty nesters and I didn't. I should have listened to that prompting but I will today. : ) I heard this recently. God's will for my life is to 1) Be joyful always. 2) Pray continuously. 3)And to give thanks in all circumstances. God's plan for your life is the posture of your heart. ♥

Oh Crystal! How I needed your words this morning! Thank you for being vulnerable and thank you for pointing to the Lord! He is everything and He is enough. I can so relate to the children of Israel example, and your experience. I have been blessed to walk with Jesus for so many years, and have seen His handiwork, and been encouraged in His word and by His people, yet I forget. My struggle to remember does remind me of who
He is, and who I am. He is always faithful, and always will be. Thank you Crystal, your channel has helped me not feel so isolated or crazy in my thinking. 😁
I will be praying for you! ❤

Oh Crystal, you are truly a courageous God fearing woman who trusts your Heavenly Father to see you through this family situation. I, too, have gone through family member situations. Yes, it is by giving it to Him, trusting Him and PRAISING Him that the heavy chains fall off you. "Heavenly Father, we as believers lift up this family member as well as Crystal to You. We pray just as You parted the Red Sea for Moses and Your people, that You part the "red sea" and make a way to end/finish this ongoing situation for this family member and Crystal. Thank You for hearing a simple but heartfelt prayer in Jesus's almighty name. Amen. "

Hi Crystal, Marti here, thanks for sharing all that, it really speaks to me too. Life goes on smoothly and then things happen and we wonder why, I try to remind myself the Lord is in control always, to' cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us' and try to 'let not our hearts be troubled or afraid' The past year I've found too that praise music helps. Last Christmas my 96 yr old mom fell (who lives by herself), our home is nearby so my husband and I lived with her for 2 months until she was stronger. Meanwhile I was having very bad back problems at the same time. She never fully recovered from the fall, and two days ago she passed away. Through the past year I would keep praise music on throughout the day and it just helped so much. I hope things work out for the best whatever you're dealing with, we all appreciate your honesty and encouragement. It helps knowing we all stuggle with difficult things sometimes and we're not alone in the hard times. Watching all your videos through the last year helped immensely, you're a blessing to us all in ways you aren't even aware of. Thank you

Prayers for your situation Crystal. I completely understand the pain of difficult circumstances. For me it started with Hurricane Helene and it’s rolling into almost daily. I try to stand with my hand in His and know in the end He has control. I love this message and it’s through His grace you are able to deliver it and remind us. May God comfort your heart. 💜

Thank you so much for your courage and honesty today Crystal. Those of us who listen to you regularly can see that this was not an easy post for you today ... but here you are turning your negative experience into a positive one to encourage others along ... and that is truly a reflection of God's beauty and grace. He knows all and you are so right not to over share in the details. Take it one day at a time ... his grace is sufficient ...and keep on praising! Sending hugs and prayers xxx

Good morning Crystal. I so NEEDED this video today. For the past 2 days, I have definitely been walking through a storm, one I have walked through before. I am a fixer by nature, so I do like to take things into my hands at time, and I need to remind myself to get out of the Lord's way and let me take the wheel. I thank you for your reminders and encouragement today, and also to let me know that I am not alone in times like these. You and your channel are a blessing to me. I will pray for you and your situation that everything works out well for you. God bless my friend.

I meant to leave a comment earlier. God will guide you through this. I am praying for you since I watched this video. You don't have to share, of course what is happening, but you have to know you are loved by all of us that follow you. But most of all you are loved by our Father. He is a way maker, miracle maker and you are HIS child. Wish we were all there to hug and support you in person and maybe with a cup of coffee. 🤗
