I really hate how no other versions after the PC ports used these higher res sprites. They look so nice, and are really crisp. Would look far better on higher res screens, lol. The PS2 version just ran the original sprites through an upscaling filter, rather than upgrading them by hand like this port, so they look wonky.
I don't know which version is the best version, but this is one more reason for me to want a PC-98. On a related note, I once got curious about what ol' Moo Niitani was up to and discovered his UA-cam channel, MOOTV. It turns out that old man Satan likes to sing acoustic guitar songs, play video games, and draw pictures of girls while streaming to his numerous Korean fans. I'm glad he seems to be doing well. Also, that was a solid playthrough! I still have much to learn it seems.
