Its possible that this particular version is just plain glitchy (because what you described is just one of many things that shouldn't be happening in a normal Puyo Puyo match). I'm still trying to locate down the windows native version so I can compare.
That reminds me of something that I've had happen in Sonic Mania (in THAT boss fight). You can sometimes rotate Puyos INTO OTHER PUYOs, if you time everything right.
Nice Ending with the last boss! Nice to see this Mac version also has Gems. I did play this game a LOT in the past. On single player I managed to just set the score counter to 0 cause I just could continue forever :P Do you ever had that funny bug in player vs CPU where a Cpu qwirk was stuck in a wall and the CPU was unbeatable? On rare moments that that happened I made real big high scores and had in that time lot of Gems (2 gems give the opponent trouble, green gives a line of none connecting colored qwirks, purple gives a left and right wall full of clear qwirks (not usefull on act4 boss :P)) (the blue gem you had removes all your blue qwirks, the yellow gems does the job of the BIG qwirk totally removing the 2 middle columns. The red one removes all the clear qwirks you have on your field. (They could have used this gems in their Puzzles!)
Ugh, I don't know what I hate most about this version, so I'll list the problems I've noticed; 1. The CPU continues to battle even when the third column is fully occupied. The puyos - oops, I mean, QWIRKS - always fall from that column, so that should NEVER happen under ANY circumstances. 2. Qwirks keep disappearing at random when placed down... why?!? 3. On level 5 I noticed that after you attacked, the garbage did not fall onto the opponent's field. How did such a glitch even get past playtesting? Well, I guess you need to be able to even PLAY this trash in order to test it in the first place.
Final bosses of Regional Puyo releases: Puyo Puyo - Satan, the ruler of Hell. Mean Bean Machine - Dr Robotnik, evil corporate mastermind. Kirby's Avalanche -- King Dedede, a large, greedy penguin. Qwirks - Spirtl, Whatever the fuck this mutant is.
This is definitely my least favorite of the Puyo Puyo rebrands, even looking past the glitches. Some of the monster designs make me really uncomfortable, especially Gloph and Nout.
Would you be able to upload the soundtrack to this? I've been searching forever for it, and all I've been able to find is the inferior-sounding PC version's OST.
Puyo Puyo is a rather weird game itself (largely the characters), but this re-skin is it's own brand of bizarre.
14:43 - There! A Green Puyo just disappeared. I've never had that happen in a game.

This game is pretty damn janky soooo
In a puyo game of average quality I don’t think the entire garbage queue would just disappear…
A russian man introduces us to an american adaptation of a japanese game. God, I love marketing sometimes.
Puyo Puyo: Monster Edition.
what in the world are the death animations for htis game
CanSteam - Hey, this was from the Mac 7 days. Expect the CGI to suck.
Gloph just fucking dies
This was my very first PuyoPuyo game EVER.
Andrew Sarley hey! Can you team up with sega and the Creator of candy crisis to make a whole new game? Please!
@@UoirLocer you're asking for too much, bud.
It’s a rip off not a official game
@@jyson2665 It's more of a official reskin since Alexey did got permission
I'm sorry to hear that

Lose condition: -fill third column-
-Fill 3rd row from top then place a puyo?-
-God knows what?-
Varies between each level? ✔️
I think it was rather "Place a Qwirk pair on the hidden rows to lose"
@@fran5678can The way to lose in this is extremely inconsistent and almost feels like it varies between stages.
Fill whatever column the CPU player decides to drop their piece from because apparantly they can do that
I’m guessing they had “Up to quick drop” added because of this game supposedly being a new game based on Tetris.
SUPPOSEDLY
and that predicted Puyo Puyo tetris

Windows version does have MIDI version.
Qwirks = Russian Puyo Puyo
Did spectrum holobyte have any involvement with kirby's avalanche?

Wow I was 5!!!
This is halfly cursed
This is probably pne of the worst clones of this game to ever exist
It's not that bad I got used to the controls.
