Thank you so much for this. I feel like I’m in hell at the moment not eating or sleeping worrying so much about my wee boy. Reassuring to know I’m not the only one. It will get better I know.
Thank you for making this video I am in the prediagnosis stage and waiting for my appointment with a clinical psychologist. I’m so glad to have found your channel thank you and thank you to all the ladies for sharing their stories! 💖
Wow, what an amazing video. Thank you so much to everyone involved. I particularly liked the advice from Carrie about being able to say no to social situations that don't work for you and your child. We're in the limbo stage and this uplifting video means so much!
Great job ladies. Such a great video, thank you for sharing!! I have all the same wishes about not wasting so much time worrying and wish I'd found the neurodiversity movement much sooner. Hopefully this video means parents waiting for diagnosis now will find the right supports so much quicker!!
Thank you so much for this! I'm an autistic and I've tried introducing people, especially vulnerable parents, to neurodiversity, for years. I hope I've been able to help some of these parents, though I don't know because I usually did it on Facebook and Facebook disabled both my accounts.
Wow i needed this video i needed to hear those words thank you so much 😥😭 We are on the waiting list for a diagnosis it is heartbreaking not knowing what the future hold for us and especially for my little boy he is 28 months and an amazing little human being so lovable thank you again 😔
Really nice video. I wish there were some girl moms. Not that it matters I guess, but I have a little girl and I feel like there are less girl moms out there dealing with this :(
Hi, just asking because last time i took mines swimming he got habd foot and mouth. And actually he gets ill so often. Sometimes twice in 1 month. Thats over half the month hes spending it either with viruses or something. How do you manage taking him swimming in cold weather regularly?
@@scartwright9350 All you have to do is be there.. You don't have to teach them. He taught himself how to swim. He usually swim an hour. Just stand by and help them stay above water.. Saftey Start with a swimvest. Waterwings There is no goal let them be happy. I don't know why it works.
Hi, you are dowing great job.We have tried brain storm clinic in london. They are great and kid is making huge prgress. They have investigated gut issues, heavy metals, minerals and mineral deficiencies. Please look into Gaps diet, detoxing his body.
I’m no expert, but meltdowns are often caused by sensory overload (though obviously if your child can’t communicate what’s wrong it must be hard), but as they get older it will get better. Neurodiverse children are just children, in the end. It’ll get better, so don’t loose hope in yourself or your child :) and get some support from someone so you don’t go it alone (partner, parent, friend, aide even.).

I would of had our son in the swimming pool much earlier. Swimming has helped him more than anything.

that happens for those of us who will be caring for nonverbal, violent, constantly melting down kids until we die? I've lost hope 😢
