“You’re killing me smalls, you’re killing me 😂” You made an awesome tutorial, it literally covers all the work required! I don’t have a nice Chevy truck to do this on, but I’m thinking of converting my F250 to disk brakes! Take care sir!
@@bonezshakergarage yea that’s probably the best option, the problem is I have an early 90s F250 and after 96 they changed the lug nut pattern, and I really don’t want to buy wheels again 😂. I know of people who use Cadillac calipers and a chevy rotor to convert the sterling 10.25 that I have 💪😎
That's definitely the first time I ever saw someone plasma cut brakes off before 😆, that was amazing! And a great way to avoid having to take the axles out. Definitely not a fan of drum brakes either. Great job!
Guys, if you're watching this, pound that SUBSCRIBE button. Let's get BSG up and over 1K subs. Plasma cutter.... hadn't thought of that! That was a huge time saver, and you didn't have to buy gear lube! I'm about to do rear disc on Frankie, but I'm also putting in SN95 axles so I can try and get my 18X10's in there. Great content.
Felixcaballero3522 working outstanding. It’s the best conversion I have ever done. Money well spent. If I had another vehicle that needed that conversion that would be the first thing I would do ✌🏾
Thank you for a great video. I'm trying to decide if I want to spend the money to convert to disc on the rear of my 2011 GMC Sierra or just replace the shoes and drums. I don't like drum brakes, and I know I can do the conversion. I never use the emergency brakes so there's that to make my mind up about to. Your presentation was very down to earth & I felt like I was right there with you! All the best!
@@DonDickhaut-Bassman just seen this comment and I’m very very sorry I’m just seeing it. Great kit and it’s not bad putting this kit on and it will improve your braking.

Thanks MrBlitzkrieg. You could go to the junkyard and pull everything off a F250 and do it that way. It will be more budget friendly

@@MrBlitzkrieg1987 yeah I wouldn’t want to change wheels just for disc brakes either

Thanks SleazysGarage. I didn’t have a choice because my sawsall wasn’t working for me and the cut off wheel didn’t have enough space to cut
Good work, keep posting
@@Jajaky appreciate it
Great job bro
Thanks bro

Thanks 89G. I am glad I had the plasma cutter. If I didn’t it would have been a long day 😂
@@bonezshakergarage yes sir! I love mine. I'm about to drag mine out again this week and make some bracketry.
IMPRESSIVE
Thanks cuzo. Have to do what you got to do to make it work.
How did your brakes do? Did you have to upgrade your master cylinder or anything?
The best upgrade you can do. The master cylinder works fine no problems
Thanks for subscribing
Getting it Done 💯✊🏾💪🏾
Update on the conversion? Everything still working well?

Did you have to chave up the lines or did the oem lines hook up to the caliper?
@@rileywalker9862 oem lines connected right up
How has the kit held up after a year? Would you recommend it ? Thinking of doing the conversion on my truck.
@@marcomendoza9068 outstanding kit and I would recommend this kit.
@@bonezshakergarage thanks for the reply!
I bet that was fun to do LOL.
It was a little more then I expected. But, that is the way it goes when working on cars
@@bonezshakergarage LOL, been there done that. Thats why I said that!. Really dont want to do it again even if Im getting paid!
Will this work with 15in wheels
I really don’t know
How durable are they??
The brake system is great
will it fit a 2009 4.8?
Yep
