There's one clip of 2 lions playing tug o war with a baby warthog and decided to go halfsies when it snapped in half. But most viscous footage on YT is 4 large hunting dogs having 4 way tug o war with a live skunk and each got a quarter piece. It happened so fast, skunk didn't even have the chance to spray.
Amazing how they fuss over a morsel of food, literally a couple of bites worth and they pick at it so not to miss a drop of blood amazing video thank you

She punctured the head just enough for her to drink blood and keep the the little guy alive for a bit. That was vampire right there. But then again, It was like a picnic for the lovely lady with her friends nearby. Small bite wounds and an incredibly powerful tongue to get blood was like wine. Then came the main course. Cooked Rare. And Young!

Thats the thing with resilience. You'd think its a good trait to have but as this shows, it can be a downright painful trait. Warthogs are incredibly resilient and take long to die, even while they are being devoured alive.

This is a rare exception not the rule. There is almost always competition between lions for food resources. So that belief still hold true.
