I haven’t talked to him for ages but I went to elementary school/middle and high school with Griffin. Never close friends but we knew each other. Wish I got into cycling more back then but I only started when covid hit. Page says what’s up bro and congrats if you read this!
Thanks for showing us this event, Ben, and you should do the whole eight-day deal next year because you're supposed to be like this super tough gravel guy who does videos about your wins and makes us all wish we could ride as fast as you. Okay, being a wiseacre I know but really, thanks for this and hopefully Colombians know we North Americans have been cheering for their road riders since those halcyon days of riders from this side of the pond first dueling and defeating the Euro pros on their turf in the Eighties. And to this day North, Central, and South American riders are still collectively the underdogs in that fight and who doesn't love an underdog? 😀
Great to hear the recap and gear choice, but I'm still left with the question of why on earth a gravel bike was chosen by anyone over a dual sus mtb. 😂
Whitney's definitely on my hit list for videos. I managed to drop that ball in Colombia. But She and Zack are giving me a ride to The Mid South so I'll pull something together. 😀

¿El Zoro, qué tal? Wow, what a win for Griffin! Funny to see Whitney Allison walk by, kudos to her for the Big W!
