It's so satisfying to be able to replicate a high end afk strategy with underleveled and lower rarity ops! Mulberry e1, chen e1, 4 star vanguards/jaye at e1, and e1 ifrit all work (i needed perfumer and one ifrit redeployment as a compromise) My biggest takeaway is that gummy is literally just saria but cheaper and more accessible and just as strong for afk healing (no ive totally not been possessed by Supah)
Irene S1 works well on top if you don't have Ch'en. The levitate effect counters the dodge. Also true damage like Monster's can't be dodged, that works too. Or you could freeze them. Or stun. Or put them to sleep (if you have enought dps from ops that can attack sleeping targets). If you can generate enough DP, Jaye can also silence them, like Lappy does.
Irene S1 works on paper, in reality she's shifting target constantly because levitating doesn't count as blocking. Although, if you add a marksman it would help Irene a lot
I don't have Ch'en for the auto stun, so I used Enforcer S1 on the vanguard tile, and it worked. His push against the wall stuns the enemies while Blaze does the dps

But annihilation, fuck watching a map for 30 minutes only to realize your placement in the first 2 minutes screwed over the final wave at minute 30.
I subbed Silverash for Thorns and Irene for Chen and added Exia up top next to Honeyberry and it worked fine. I used Silverslash a couple of times but don’t think I had to

Operators replacement recommendations: For ch'en -Enforcer or weedy, Enforcer is better because longer stun -Bibaek S2 (not afk) -Irene S1, adding marksman sniper is recommended -Jaye S1, bring lot's of vanguard You can also just use regular guards and bring a cliffheart, but not afk For ifrit -Horn S1 works well but not really an accessible operator -Corroserum might not be a bad idea, if you even build him -Mystic caster might work? Put them one tile to the left and when they move into Mystic caster range, the dudes has A res so it should be fine Hope this helps someone afk/semi-afk run
Damn, It fell apart quickly at the end. Kyo makes it look so easy but imagine something like this happens before the last wave and you don't have any devices anymore.
It won't happen if you prepare in advance for killing the enemies on those tiles before they can summon mud. Pushers, stunners, sleepers, true dmg dealers, levitaters(coughs in just Irene) and ofc silencers all work. If your run is really falling apart and you somehow don't have a single op that can solve your top lane problem, get bibeak from the cc shop and time her stun when you need it
My comment is super late, but I actually managed to clear this without any leaks or close calls. I subbed out most ops (kept Lappy and Ifrit) and added a couple: swapped Thorns with SA (E2 lvl 50, S3M1); swapped Honeyberry with Mulberry (E1 lvl 50, S1 lvl 5), swapped Ch'en with Surtr (E2 lvl 30, S1 lvl 7), swapped Saria with Gummy (E1 lvl 50, S1 lvl 7), swapped vanguard for Enforcer for stun (E1 lvl 45, S1 lvl 7), used Myrtle for DP printer (E2 lvl 20, S1M3), added Kroos Alter to the right of Mulberry facing left to help with the flying enemies (any decent sniper would work; mine is E2 lvl 50, S2 lvl 7), and added Perfumer to the left of Ifrit facing left for a little extra healing (E2 lvl 40, S1 lvl 7, max module). I borrowed a lvl 70 Lappy, but otherwise the ops can be much lower level and lower rarity for an easy clear

Replaced Ch'en with Degen S1 and cleared it. Btw if you're like me with E2 lvl 1 Ifrit she will die at the very end but you can still clear it by dropping some fast redeploys to help with damage.
My squad build 11 or 10 Two Vanguard -Bagpipe and any flag bearer for DP Two Medic -Honeyberry and any Aoe Healer. One Defender. any Strong Def One Caster or not... Four Guard -Blaze -Ch'en -Lappland -Thorns One Supporter Stainless Skill 3 2 Free Deployment limit Drone and infinity gain Drone. 11 or 10 slot and the other slot is Trust farm.
I use 2 flags for the 999 DP, Gladia instead of Iifrit module lv3 S1-7 was funny see that all the damage from the jelly, was heald instantly, Spalter module X lv3, that just help with the stats, don't use skill, Irene S1-7 module lv3, Skalter S2M3 the others were the same Thorns, Lappy, Saria and Honeyberry, I forgot to bring Lumen just for moral support, all DPS operator were 80 or above, except for Gladia, she is 60
PSA for those without Flametail, I used Texas(E2L40 S1L7) and 1 'dog' always manage to get passed. Maybe it's just bad RNG or my Chen isn't built enough
I dont have Ch'en, but I do have Mudrock... so I went a little insane... brought Myrtle, Bagpipe, Elysium, Blemishine, and SkadiC.. deployed Bagpipe in place of Ch'en, and while Thorns was charging his skill, amassed enough DP to deploy SkadiC, just between Honeyberry and Bagpiipe, put Blemi behind Flametail, replace Bagpipe with Mudrock, and then eventually redeploy Bagpipe just below Mudrock... Bagpipe soaked the flyer hits, and on the off chance Mudrock got stunned, she was there to catch the straggler for the brief moment.. Blemi was behind Flametail in case things built up too much, and of course her being there meant Mudrock was using Crag Splitter non-stop, for increase chance of stunning. did I need to do all that just to replace Ch'en? probably not. couldve just brought 4 auto-DP vanguards and put Jaye down in place of Ch'en... but this was more fun.
as someone who going insane just use tomimi s2 i know she is no meta and SUPER RNG but rng_stun*rng_dodge will give us eternal random run =) also croissant and if you think you eternal just use gladia wai fu and not forgot pozemka module one ( it is completely overkil) carnelian s2 overcharge even forgotten blacknight+ blemi + Erato+Iris( NOT RECOMEND) ceobe with S1|S3 glaucus s2 ( if you insane and can block more than 10-20 enemy for kill them in one burst) and since i m insane just borrow S2M3 Rosmontis she do as well and aosta i forgot that useles boi
You don't even need a Ifrit - I put Lumen o the tile left of where she wold be for some extra Healing and it was enough. Also only realized, I forgot to bring a Defender, so I just subbed that one out for Gavialter, cause she has a Talent that increases the Healing she gets below a certain amount of HP, in case she needs it. Currently in the process of building Lappy, so I borrowed her.

Is there a decent alternative to Lappland? Obviously not a full replacement since her silence isn't tied to a skill, but for those of us who don't have her and are looking to get an auto set up what could we do vs the Founders and Brandguiders?
If you have Młynar or Tequila raised, you can use either of them to prevent the brand from spreading, just don't activate the skill so you don't accidentally create a mess of a brand. Squish him with operators that can block + deal damage in L formation and you have a really good cage to lock the brand in. Just let the enemies come to the caged tile and kill them there. Of course, the quality of this strat depends on the other operators you choose since you don't want to spawn the brand on the wrong spot.

The idea you let them come to the operators that can deal with them by putting those operators around Młynar/Tequila, preferably put one ground op right next to the stair to camp some of the enemies as well. Them being block 0 means the enemies will pass through them and get blocked by those operators, but they're there so the brand won't spread. Młynar and Tequila also has reflect damage so if they're put last (well, Młynar probably doesn't care about deployment order), they can still help with chipping down ranged enemies' HP as well. Don't forget to heal them though lol.
yes, but only if you have enough DP for him (2Flag vanguard would be enough) but we have to deploy him so early i dont sure if you can make enough DP for him in time, so its better to use someone with crowd-control like Ch'en s1 or Irene s1 or etc.

Corroserum also works on Ifrit's spot, used him with E2 and he can help Lappland in silencing multiple targets as well ^_ ^

If you don't have Ch'en, just use Gnosis S1 in that empty middle tile, and you'll be 100% good.

Why are you using Honeyberry instead of Mulberry? Does she just better than the latter?
Honeyberry may just be more easily obtainable, since she's in the red cert shop.
Honeyberry is better at healing elemental damage and healing multiple at a time. While mulberry is better at single target healing.
