Say what you will about SWTOR but the fact that they are able to focus so heavily on story now instead of raids and such has really helped it be an enjoyable single player game. Not that it had a bad single player to begin with, just that it has only gotten better.
What makes SWTOR such an elite game is that it sticks to the original principles that made Star Wars what it is. The way the game delves into the lore with the tombs, force ghosts, etc... and respects the established rules/canon is amazing. Music is top notch too. ,
SWTOR and the Old Republic in general is peak Star Wars. That time is when the Jedi and Sith were are the height of their power, and it was an actual war.

Its not pay 2 win plenty of armor sets gettable in game the shop only has cosmetics as for players at peak time there is plenty of groups to do group content with on both malgus server and star forge
