I have a 2014 SRX that needs to be replaced the transmission but I can't find the ID number so I can buy the new transmission. I saw that it has 2 ID numbers 3WNK and 4 WNK but I didn't find these numbers on the bad transmission, could you tell me how to find the ID number please?
Shame on you for not videotaping the complete job step by step, i can do most mechanical repairs myself with the help of these videos, I have never done this before i was relying on you video to show me how, Now,. i have to figure it all out for myself, Creep I will never watch a video from you ever again nor will i recommend them to anyone.
I mean, you get really busy trying to remove everything. So basically, what you need to do is step 1 you need to remove all fluids. Oil coolant should be removed. Step 2, remove the battery step 3. Remove all the hoses that are blocking you from removing the bolt of transmission and engine perion step 4. What you need to do is start attacking the bolts for the transmission And engine step 5, you need to remove the starter so that you could get to this torque converter bolts, spin the crankshaft and remove all the torque converter bolts. Step 6 you need to start dismounting the subframe. Put Jack stands on each side so that it doesn't fall on you. Step 8, remove the subframe and the real hub and wheel bearing. All should be in one piece, remove it to the side step 8. Now you have access to the transmission, remove the transmission mounds and start pulling down the transmission to the floor. Period now you just have to follow everything backward
How many miles are on the used one you installed?

You need the vin number
Call dealership parts department. Give them vin. Get the part number for transmission
Did you have to reprogram the new transmission to the car or just swap the new one with the old one
