That moment was one of the happiest. In that moment, he didn’t want to find the 50th Dead World in order to find Jake, like he’d been looking for the entire time. He only wanted Jake, and nothing more. As soon as he broke down and admitted that, Finn was able to get to him because you can only go to the 50th Dead World when you don’t want to find it or aren’t looking for it.
I agree, it is sad but the saddest one in my opinion was when Pops from Mordecai and Rigby (The Regular Show), sacrificed himself to save everyone. That really got to me, no one apprecitaed his caracter until he sacrificed himself.

So in the last episode the Jake( his best friend) died and he was old and imagined him so he went to all layers of heaven( in this show there is 50 layer of heaven) he was at heaven 45 and Jake came from heaven 50 and the show ended with them recycling there life with a bump fist
