It's not easy as you're going against a lifetime of conditioning, but you've got to convince yourself that awareness is all there is and the body/mind is an illusion. Seek until you know this implicitly, then rest.
The easiest way for me is whatever is coming up. I tell myself, “I'm okay with that,” and I sit with it, not trying to make it more “positive” or “loving,” and be with the feeling itself, reminding myself I'm okay with it. When I do that, I notice sometimes a relaxing of my mind and sometimes a twitching in the body but in the end, I feel just a tad lighter than I did before.
"Make it nice, just make it nice." How perfect. ❤
