    Thank you for this recipe never cook dirty rice before. I cooked this for my Sunday dinner with your meat loaf recipe. My son love dirty rice but I never cooked it until now the best dirty rice we have ever had. The seasoning was delicious. Tilting the lid works. Rice turned out perfectly and no sticking. Adding to my Chris recipes

    Let me start by saying you rock. Thank you for this recipe, I made it tonight and my husband loved it. I will be coming back for more ideas. By the way I used left over ham and it is good. Tried the pork chops but they were too dry... Next time..... lol Rice and I have not had good luck until tonight... So that recipe is moving to my recipe box. ( with credit all yours, gotta know who to refer others to right?) Again Thank you!

    I save those black plastic meat containers, just as you appear to do. Drip pans under plants, short term containers for chopped ingredients, etc. I have Adobo seasoning but didn't think to use it elsewhere. Love Dirty Rice, and your recipe is one I'll try from scratch instead of the boxed version. Cut down for two of us, of course. Thank you, Chris, for more good recipes!

      I use Adobo in place of salt in everything , except baked items of course. Much better flavor than plain salt

    Hello everyone. I made it last night it was pretty good and everything will feed an army. I used Jimmy Dean's hot sausage. In regards the sage, either skip it or a pinch took over all the goodies in the dish. Use less adobo and salt because it came out salty. Overall, would I make it again, yes but with less seasoning. Ms. Chris thank you very much and God bless you and your girls 🤗

    • @chriscook4u2
      @chriscook4u2  6 років тому +7

      When you changed the ingredients expect the flavors to change. Any sausage, especially Jimmy Deans sausage the primary seasoning ingredient is SAGE. So if you compound that with what the recipe calls for you will get seasoning overload. Forcing a review that depicts the changes made.
      This is a very good dish when done with ground beef you would be seasoning the meat. When done with sausage the meat is already seasoned. That’s what makes it sausage. As I have stated in my tutorials all the time. I love and Welcome change in any dish, that’s a good thing. But to get my results it must be done that way. Thank you so much for your comments. This example is so helpful. I truly do appreciate it. God Bless.

      Because black people don't even believe in eating spaghetti as a main dish. It actually would serve just find. Especially those who come or whose people come from the south. My mother was like that.
