The amount of "Blood", "sweat" & definitely tears that went into putting together this homage to Kobe's life & legacy is beyond staggering. Much respect JZ!
@@sprb4725 i dont know maybe the fact that he wasnt a rapist. I would like to remind you that the woman had remains of semen from multiple different men in the underwear she claims she was wearing when the incident happened. She also changed her story 3 different times and not to mention was on medication for effing schizophrenia. Also Im not trying to say that that woman was a "thot" or "slut" Im just saying she saw an oppurtunitu to exploit having sex with an nba star. So hey, research your shit before you try to tarnish someones name
dude people like you are so damn annoying. people can dislike or like whatever they want to, the button is there for a reason. never understood why yall wanna shame people for clicking the dislike button on "sad" or "emotional" videos. the person didnt like it, for whatever reason, so they clicked dislike. just because you worship kobe bryant and he passed away doesnt make videos about him immune from being hit with the dislike button.
• I’ve been subbed to this channel for so long and never expected to see one of my beats (42:20) used in your videos, thanks for using it man! Especially on a video about kobe, one of my childhood heroes •
It’s hard to tell a story about someone’s life & legacy, but it’s much harder when that someone is so storied. All of us subscribers and Kobe fans (or stans, like me) appreciate your relentless dedication to getting this one RIGHT. By far the most comprehensive Kobe video I’ve seen and easily your best work yet. THANKS JZ 💜
This is one of those videos you would have expected to go viral. Hope some day/year it gets mass recommend through YT's algorithm. Maybe near Kobe's birthday.
Anytime I see anything about Kobe I remember sitting there watching his final game thinking there will never be another and just shedding a few tears as the final legend of my childhood retired. Rest in Power Kobe, GIGI and all of the other victims of the tragedy.
man u made me cry just like the day he left. keep doing what u do, i still don't understand how this amazing video among others has such little amount of views. rlly love your work.
Thank you for producing this incredible video portrait of such an inspiring legend. It`s a masterpiece. Puts things in perspective: Don`t waste this precious life, make something, and show love to your family and community. This should get a million+ views. Keep doing your thing Jake.
Already know this will be a great video, you are going to go huge as the way you compile documentaries is beautiful. All I can say is hope your staying well in lock down and if you keep releasing the insanely high level content you are, you're going to go places. Love your videos I don't know if you like him or not but one of my favourite artists is Kanye West and it would be incredibly interesting if you would be able to a video on him have a good one!
i remember a time where i was so invested in his career and mentality that i memorized every speech, every highlight, every move, every moment that he had up until his retirement. when i look back i realize that kobe's attitude and mentality played a big role in shaping me as a person. obviously he made me a basketball fan and he's the sole reason why i played and loved basketball as much as i did. i used to study his moves throughout the years and mimic it on the court. fadeaway jumpers, footwork, layup packages and even the facial expresions. i was seeing myself as him because i did think that our competitives drives matched perfectly. thank you kobe for everything, rest in piece.
Damn, I really wonder what happened to this video. The amount of work you put into this video must of been mind boggling, and it shows. Such a shame youtube decided not to recommend it to anyone.
RIP to the Mamba 💜💛 Great Video Jake! The day I became a life long Kobe fan was when he called me before he hit a game winner. The shot over Dwade in 2010. It was on my birthday and I’ll never forget it.
Man Rest in peace the legend man, Theres nothing worse than hearing someone leave so soon. But his legacy and what he left and his impact shows how big of a mamba he was, REST IN PEACE kobe fly high
Honestly Jake I really appreciate this content you're making! I found your channel back when you uploaded the Video about Mac Miller and never stopped watching you! Awesome content from a small creator that deserves more credit! Keep it coming, love from Germany :)
I know this was released a year ago and I’ll doubt you’ll see this comment but all I want to say is thank you for this masterpiece and making content that makes you feel something
I just found out about your channel bro. Im catching up on it now. Hands down one of my new favorite doc channels. Good job man. This is my Moms old phone. I never logged out of her account lol. Im Chadfilms. You have a cool voice too. Do a doc on a few film directors careers. Tarantino Scorcese and Jordan Peele may be a great start. Or maybe some actors. But i look forward to watching more of your videos. I saw the Drake one a few times its funny to watch. Then i saw the Kanye fashion one which was really informative and impressive and now the Kobe one. Wish you the best of life man you're really good at what you do.
I believe the most valuable lesson Kobe Bryant left behind is how to answer the existential question we all face at one point or another in life, that of, how do you redefine yourself after the thing you thought defined you is no more. What is the essence of YOU? Is it the sum total of wins and losses? Is it the shine of your past successes ; the shame of your past mistakes? Or is it the essence of resilience that defines you as great? A very profound question, indeed. Proverbs 24:16 “… a just man may fall seven times, but rises up again…” #MambaMentality #BlackMamba Thank you #Kobe. 💡🕊📖
I remember watching Kobe playing against MJ and not comprehending a thing, except that grown up family members loved MJ and my cousins loved Kobe. Kobe motivated me to not only comprehend basketball but learn English. Over the years I’d apply that his mentality with playing shooting guard, setting in volleyball, and composing shots in photography. After his passing, I was shooting free throws, doing wall sets, and taking photos, heartbroken, knowing the man that taught me work ethic was taken from us so suddenly. The power of a person truly lies in how much they can teach and inspire those who they have never physically met. As for Gigi, I can only imagine the magnitude of her presence to the world, especially inspiring for girls. She taught me the value of raising your kids and mentoring the youth by helping them pursue their passion and reinforcing their convictions, they are next generation after all. Rest in Power, Gigi and Kobe.

Probably accidental. I’ve disliked videos on mobile before by accident and barely realized it before un clicking. I doubt Kobe haters would watch
its almost been a year and there is only 33 dislikes. Not too bad.
