Damn what a great documentary !! I’m the same age as Kobe and grew up in LA so watching his career , I remember where I was for all of it. He died on January 26 which is my sons birthday. We were setting up the party when I heard the news. He brought us Laker fans so much joy he definitely deserved to enjoy the fruits of his labor in retirement . RIP Mamba 🙏
Still missing Kobe till today; he is not only GOAT as basketball player, but inspirational for life. What he had been through and yet kept on showing that we could achieve more if we really wanted it. Thank you Kobe, thank you for having you in my life.
I agree with you 💯 percent, Lowrekus Wardlow. Da Mamba is/was & forever will be 'The Hands Down Greatest,'. No disrespect to Mike, but he took dude's moves and made them better. SMMFH... The polish on his game is something I don't think will ever be rivalled... Kobe was a special player. He perfected his work of art in basketball. All his life wanted to play basketball. Truly gifted and understood quickly the world of basketball. Thank you, Kobe B. for all these great memories. You will never forgotten and I am sure in heaven he played like an angel and guides those new rookies in this world who need his spiritual help. Touch a basketball. Kobe would tell you the same. You're young. I was born in 1980 I'm 6ft and I'm trying to dunk again in these next few years. Never let basketball die.
Kobe Bryant is my all time favorite NBA player. His work ethic, drive, ambition and will to win was so inspiring. His game, footwear and finesse was second to none. Thanks for making this documentary. ❤❤❤❤🏀🏀🏀🏀
Kobe is such an underrated when it comes to defense. He was one of the best defenders of all time. One of the greatest defenders to never won a D.P.O.Y.
I remember playing NBA jam 1998 where Kobe would Dunkin from the three point line 🤣 made me start watching basketball and Kobe made me love basketball . Goat skill wise
A couple of years ago i was at work when i found out. At TARGET. I watched customers that were adults with phones step to the side in silence and puzzled expressions. I myself was stuck between tearing up and just ignoring while my shift ended. ... about an hour later as i heard people break more details out loud and speculate, i clock out, walk home, and the moment i walk in my house i zoom to my room and sit on my bed as i turned the tv on... I basically coughed suddenly into tears and people 31 year old me wept like a child. ... I cried every day 5 days straight when id be eating watching espn or news. Unavoidable ... and man when I watched THE GOAT cry as he told us about his relationship with Kobe, I wept one last time. JORDAN, KOBE, KAREEM, and THEN whomever... just have Magic and Shaq in the top 10.
I really miss Kobe Bean! Was really looking forward to see what kind of mark he’d leave on the league after retirement and not just as a player. Dude had a huge heart!!! Take it easy on everyone up there on the courts in heaven, Kobe! But never stop having fun and making those around you better. Love ya, Kobe. Thank you for giving all of us all of you!

This was an amazing docu about Kobe Bean Bryant. In my opinion, he is a certified top 5 and maybe even top 3. It was a true blessing to have witnessed his greatness on the court. Thank you for everything Kobe...RIP
I remember the first championship playoff run and how clutch Kobe was. I always felt that Kobe was the whole reason why Shaq finally got his ring. The more I watch these Kobe vids the more certain I am, it doesn't help that every highlight is Kobe making a move to set Diesel up for the dunk. I remember every crucial moment, Frobe was the one making the play. The D was effed... defend low, #8 is one/one out on the perimeter, defend high, #34 is dunking all night.
Kobe and I are the same age and graduated from high school the same year and, the cool thing about all that, I lived and grew up in Los Angeles so to watch him come to LA and be able to see him regularly from the very start of his career, in hindsight, was awesome! I often wondered how much different his career would have been had he been in a situation with a coach like Phil Jackson from the start who didn’t have any pressure to perform or was never on the hot seat with the Lakers. That allowed him to truly coach Kobe properly without having to worry about the pressure of winning now or getting fired. He was able to be patient with Kobe. Del Harris, in his defense though, was under so much pressure to win immediately when Kobe arrived, especially with the addition of Shaquille O’Neal that same summer, that he seemed to coach like he was torn between letting Jones and Van Exel play and carry the load because he HAD to win and/or letting Kobe get in there no matter what and have that chance to learn while playing. I think that’s stress on Del Harris is what kept Kobe from developing more during his rookie season with all the up-and-down playing time which, in my opinion, is why he was so tired in his legs in the playoffs, especially in that series versus the Jazz. That’s why he had that rough playoffs against the Jazz leading to all those airballs at the end and then slowly developing over those first four years before Phil Jackson arrived. Any other young rookie would not have been able to deal with Dell Harris’ up and down decision making with his playing time, but Kobe Bryant was mature enough to deal with it and to grow and to take his opportunities and he developed well despite Del Harris being on the hot seat. That says a lot about the young man’s character! Great job on this video, bro. Loved it!
Great comment! I agree that his career could have been totally different had he not had to deal with Dell Harris from the beginning, but at the same time I saw several interviews where Kobe said those first couple years were the lowest point of his career and motivated him even up until he retired. Everything happens for a reason and I think those first couple years were the spark he needed to achieve greatness! I'm glad you enjoyed the documentary and I appreciate your comment!
@@TriceOfficial Honestly Eddie Jones should've came off the bench in Kobe's rookie season. His rookie season per 36 minutes he averaged 17.6 PPG 4.3 RPG 3.0 APG 1.6 SPG. 0.8 BPG

AI said it best. When he and others were out at the club Kobe was in the practice facility working on his skills. That is what set him apart. The guy studied all the great players that came before him and tried all their moves and style and adapted and used what he felt was best for him throwing out the things that he felt wouldn't work or give him an advantage. It's really like Bruce Lee's Jeet Kun Do style of learning how to fight. Kobe then worked everyday non stop. Then he began studying the great current players in the league he would be facing but also the new players in his draft class that he would soon be going up against. The man had a razor sharp focus and really utilized everything he had skill wise and left everything he had to give on that NBA court. Rest in Paradise Kobe.
This is such masterful story telling. Instant follow. Had me glued to my phone the whole time. I loved that you avoided using milestones as a story plot and went straight to an actual story to tell. I never grew up watching kobe before 08 so I had no real sense of his dominance other than highlights. But the way you captured the realism of the moment is perfect. I appreciate this very much.
Great work man. Thanks. I hope the younger generations come acrossed this many years down the road. Especially that one kid in particular who has that extra something inside of him, isn't sure what to do with it, and then uses this as his inspiration to become one of the greatest of all time, at whatever he does.
Kobe’s death hit me harder than anyone outside of family surpassing Steve Irwin. I still can’t accept it. Kobe was my mentor I owe much of my success to the “Mamba Mentality” he taught me. I was ashamed of being; arrogant, demanding, stubborn, masculine but Kobe and Conor Mcgreggor made me accept those traits and own it. Now I’m the more successful than I ever thought I could be. I will always see Kobe as a mentor not a basketball player.
He was one win away from 2 separate 3peats in completely different eras with completely different teams. Just amazing, I know everyone talks about MJ vs LeBron but I've always personally thought the more interesting debate is MJ vs Kobe! Kobe BEAN Bryant aka the BLACK MAMBA! RIP to a legend of the game it's really unfortunate we did not get to keep him after he hung it up. RIP Mamba 🙏
Thank you for your support! Glad you enjoyed.
Mamba Forever 🐍🕊️
Still missing Kobe till today; he is not only GOAT as basketball player, but inspirational for life. What he had been through and yet kept on showing that we could achieve more if we really wanted it. Thank you Kobe, thank you for having you in my life.
R.I.P. to the 🐐 The greatest NBA player to ever lace 'em up.
🐍🕊️
I agree with you 💯 percent, Lowrekus Wardlow. Da Mamba is/was & forever will be 'The Hands Down Greatest,'. No disrespect to Mike, but he took dude's moves and made them better. SMMFH... The polish on his game is something I don't think will ever be rivalled... I just hate that we won't get to see Kobe grow into an elder statesman, to find out who he truly would've become in his life outside basketball 😳🖤💯
He isnt even top 5 lakers. He is 15 to 20 to me. First 2 titles were cause kings and blazers choking. Ran off shaq. Look at his stats in pistons final. Selfish. More worried about him being Jordan than being himself. I just saw him as a phoney person.
@@shawnyoung8752 i’m sayin
Kobe was a special player. He perfected his work of art in basketball. All his life wanted to play basketball. Truly gifted and understood quickly the world of basketball. Thank you, Kobe B. for all these great memories. You will never forgotten and I am sure in heaven he played like an angel and guides those new rookies in this world who need his spiritual help. Rest in peace!

I can’t explain it but I’ll forever be sad that Kobe is gone, his mentality has pushed me through some hard times 🦋
🐍🕊️
You will be forever missed Kobe Bryant, you taught me a lot of lessons not only applicable to basketball but in real life as well.
To me, you're my superhero.
You his son I'm guessing
Thank you so much for this. I felt like I lost a family member when Kobe died.
That's a fact. Glad you enjoyed!
I can’t begin to explain the array of emotions felt during this documentary. This is a true gift. To be able to go back and watch why we know Kobe to be one of the greatest of all time and to be able to show future generations who Kobe was and how the Mamba Mentality came about. There can never be enough gratitude or a price for what you have created for us. 🙏🏼
I appreciate the support! Kobe set an ultimate example of what it meant to be dedicated to your craft and it was an honor to put together a project that embodied that. Glad you enjoyed!
I remember watching that game when he left crying after missing those air balls and feeling bad for him , 😢 It made him a beast though
Nothing more motivating than failure!!
The true definition of HEART, GRIT,and DETERMINATION! Rest Easy Brother, you definitely did your thing here on earth🙏🏾
Kobe still here in spirit. That’s why he a legend 👑

Beautiful video. Wasn’t born until 1998 but Kobe was my idol. Haven’t touched a basketball in years but I try to live my life with a mamba mentality no matter what I’m doing. Rest easy goat, and thank you for everything
Thanks for the comment! Cool how Kobe inspired so many people to excel at their craft and live a motivated lifestyle. RIP Mamba🐍🕊️
Touch a basketball. Kobe would tell you the same. You're young. I was born in 1980 I'm 6ft and I'm trying to dunk again in these next few years. Never let basketball die.
We miss you Kobe. Lakers 4 life!
"When I'm 40 years old, looking back.....". Passed away at 41. 😢😢😢 RIP, Mamba Forever.

Kobe Bryant is my all time favorite NBA player. His work ethic, drive, ambition and will to win was so inspiring. His game, footwear and finesse was second to none. Thanks for making this documentary. ❤❤❤❤🏀🏀🏀🏀
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
In addition to Kobe winning the scoring title in '06 IMO he should've also been the DPOY that season. Defensively he was a BEAST !!!
Kobe's defensive accolades are something that really separate him from some other legends imo. He was incredible on that end of the floor.
Kobe is such an underrated when it comes to defense. He was one of the best defenders of all time. One of the greatest defenders to never won a D.P.O.Y.
My goat. I get emotional watching these documentaries. I miss you Kobe. Rest in peace.
I remember playing NBA jam 1998 where Kobe would Dunkin from the three point line 🤣 made me start watching basketball and Kobe made me love basketball . Goat skill wise
This make me cry i cant believe kobe is gone rip my idol legends never die one of the best player subscriber from Philippines 🇵🇭

I am only 11 minutes into the documentary and I am amazed by its quality, my god what a masterpiece!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
The world went to shit right after he passed. Incredible story of focus and determination of an amazing athlete.

Kobe’s not taking it easy on anyone. Not Jordan, not god. Nobody.
52 yrs old I am, cried watching this. RIP MAMBA. You and MJ changed lives with your performances , unlike these candy ass run to the 3 point line overrated AAU clowns

I still remember the morning I woke up and it was all over the news Kobe had died I was heartbroken and hope he is doing great up there RIP we all loved you bro ❤❤❤
This was an amazing docu about Kobe Bean Bryant. In my opinion, he is a certified top 5 and maybe even top 3. It was a true blessing to have witnessed his greatness on the court. Thank you for everything Kobe...RIP
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed.
RIP Mamba 🐍🕊️
I remember the first championship playoff run and how clutch Kobe was. I always felt that Kobe was the whole reason why Shaq finally got his ring. The more I watch these Kobe vids the more certain I am, it doesn't help that every highlight is Kobe making a move to set Diesel up for the dunk. I remember every crucial moment, Frobe was the one making the play. The D was effed... defend low, #8 is one/one out on the perimeter, defend high, #34 is dunking all night.
This might be the best Kobe career doc on UA-cam.. well done my friend! RIP King Kobe
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed.
0.8 BPG
If phil never came k08e never woulda stayed we ALL know that stfu
Loved that three air balls anecdote and how revealing it was… Inspiring
That Kobe vs Carmelo 7 game series was one for the ages both in their prime years both scoring more than 25 ppg that year and scoring more in the playoffs it's was fun to watch and I'm happy I was able to watch it and appreciate it when it happened live! RIP to the goat in my eyes.
Never thought loss of someone you haven't ever even met and whom you only know from watching on the tv, could impact you so so so deeply that even a glimpse of his honest smile is still enough to tear you up.

this why he’s my favorite player the will, determination, the drive, ambition, and never look Back attitude the way loved the Game i’ve never Seen anything like it Growing up how he pushed the limit on his passion for the Game was masterful RIP legend ❤️🤞🏾
His drive was unmatched!! RIP Mamba 🐍🕊️
@@TriceOfficial I guess Jordan, Bird, Magic were not driven !!!. Kobe is not even in top 5 players in laker history to me. Baylor. West. Kareem. Magic. Worthey could have avg 30 on any team as the main go too. Wilkes was also a TEAM player. Shaq was chase away cause Kobe was a selfish snotnosed baby. Wilt? Kobe and Shaq got lucky just to get to 1rst 2 finals. Kings then Blazers collapsed epically in West conf. Finals. Llok at Kobes stats in finals loss to pistons. Ballhog lost shooting 38% from 2. 25 from 3pt. Had 40 assist to 28 tos ok not exact but about 1.5 to one. Shag still avg 26 pts to kobes 22. Great player but more worried about him being the guy to get headlines. Shaq won 2 avg 38 38 and 13 15.
I never see Kobe real life only you tube and i still continue see him on you tube 😊legend never forgot
The only thing that this video needed was the ending of Kobe’s career: 60 points in his final game. Crazy awesome
I'm glad you enjoyed! The only reason it wasn't included, is because I've actually already done a project on Kobe's last season and his final game!

This is very inspiring tbh. Watching the kone documentary is like watching Michael Jordan documentary all over again. Watching this makes male really consider kobe as my favorite nba player because his mentality and his hard work and dedication to the game of basketball. I also do like his actual game.
Well said! RIP Mamba🐍🕊️
I appreciate the comment! Glad you enjoyed.
Great work man. Thanks. I hope the younger generations come acrossed this many years down the road. Especially that one kid in particular who has that extra something inside of him, isn't sure what to do with it, and then uses this as his inspiration to become one of the greatest of all time, at whatever he does.
That's the goal!! I appreciate the support and I'm glad you enjoyed!

Are you Iranian
"I don't get 5 championships here without him" - Kobe's comment about Michael Jordan 🐐 in the Last Dance Documentary
There's alot of people who believe he would of became more of a legend off the court then when he was on it. Our world is a lesser place with him not in it. RIP mamba!!
Great video!! Thanks for taking the time to make it
