Usually the Operator is careful not to cause too much of a disturbance in the places they go to by rarely touching things; but this time, he forcefully opened a door and rustle a bunch of weeds, peeking through the window, giving a sense of urgency only seen when they are pursued Also, i hope they aren't not getting nelectful with their reports; there was clearly audio disturbances going on, yet no mention of it was given in the Submission Statement
Dear Briscoe Park, Again a very amazing and creepy footage from you at Chateau Solucampre, you create a vibe and a environment nobody can create on UA-cam, respect!
I watched this video before bed last night and it inspired a dream. I was driving down a snowy road, and there was a light from above that was catching up to my car. When it did, all the electronics in the vehicle went dead. Lights, radio, everything. It felt like I was about to be abducted by aliens. And then I woke up
I've asked Briscoe Park once, what these videos are supposed to represent. Unfortunately, I haven't had a reply yet. Can you tell me about these videos and their purpose? Just wondering.
It's a good question, my friend Vicki Mansfield. It seems to me that the concept of friend Briscoe Park's work is to present nocturnal explorations of disturbing and even terrifying sites, contained in found footage video tapes. I don't know the material veracity of the images, although the only thing I'm sure of is that whether they are really found footage of tangible places, a wonderful 3D modeling job, some interdimensional travel or a mix of all of them, the videos are great. I hope that my appreciation helps you as much as possible, although I hope that another user or Briscoe Park himself can clarify things much better for us. Greetings and have a great week!
Totally agree! Also check out the video “Briscoe park: who's guiding us through the darkness in this found footage of forgotten places?” for an interesting explanation of who filmed it and how
I love how this isn't some Blinder-created CGI. This is the really real world. It would seem he has stumbled upon an abandoned French or Italian farm villa. How come there is no more strangness going on anymore, like in very early submissions? I guess the eyes didn't come with him on his Europian tour.
Another splendid tape! Still good and nothing is happening. Man, I love the sense of isolation in this, not only is the setting isolated, the huge empty fields and ruins, but it also comes with the cameraman and the viewer. The former clearly knows what he is doing and what is he searching for, he is the one with the light in hand, while we are stumbling in the dark and follow his flashlight as he walks in front of us. The question we have is, who is he, so clearly working for? what was following him in that one tape? was he in danger? if he was not, then what does a threatening situation look like in this series? The character knows, but we don't. The gap is like a civilian watching a professional doing his or her work, while the latter has no idea of understanding the differences between the pots or pipes. I love that disconnection and the only thing that gives us the sense that the cameraman is, well, a huMAN, is that he breaths, walks, and has currently a running nose. Keep it coming, and please take breaks if you feel tired.
Lots of visual noise like in Tape 17, the asylum video. Like they're crossing through a threshold. Or several... Maybe it has to do with moving up or ascending? Getting close to the sky? Also worth noting is the connection to Tape 14. A photo couldn't be found where it was supposed to be, and now an envelope is missing. Someone or something is one step ahead of our organization here. I don't know why it took me a re-watch or two, but the cabinet in question is at 1:14. It's clearly been ransacked and looks different to the clutter we're used to seeing. If the envelope is important enough to look for, why is no follow-up required? I know the channel description says "don't ask. just watch." but I have nothing but questions after every video. If everything you can imagine is real, why don't they just imagine the envelope where it's supposed to be? Or better yet, imagine it in their hands? I'm also surprised the operator has been seemingly uninjured through this whole thing (assuming it's the same person filming in all the tapes). These places are rotted and rust covered. I feel like the floor could give out in some of these wooden structures. Or they get sick form some form of mold festering in these ruins. Whatever fauna resides here doesn't seem to keen to hurt the operator. They only ever seem to follow the operator. Maybe the fauna steer the operator away from places they're not meant to be? Despite being 18 tapes in (the first 3 are missing), Briscoe park has seemingly provided impenetrable edges to a story. So little is certain, and while I do enjoy the enigmatic and esoteric nature of these tapes, that feeling can become stale if there's no concrete progression in the narrative. Reminds me of Skyrim in a way. Exploration in Skyrim is almost completely fueled by the player's curiosity. Eventually that feeling fades, and the game quickly loses its luster. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if the grand vision of Briscoe park is to tell a story, it needs a pace change at the moment. Not necessarily a climax, but a hint or nudge. Tie up a single loose end. A bread chunk instead of a crumb. No need for the whole loaf, I think that's what the audience is meant to put together. Then again it's not my vision. Maybe Briscoe Park doesn't have narrative plans and just wants to make urbex videos some find comforting and others terrifying. Maybe they just want to drive people like me crazy. Regardless of intent, I do respect the project. CGI or real world footage, I imagine these videos take a lot of work. EDIT: I left this comment after Tape 21 came out, but before I watched it. It seems my issues with pacing were addressed!
There's a lot more ambient static noise happening with the camera, like there's something actively disturbing the footage, warping it with the fuzz in the corners and that buzzing like bluetooth going next to a computer speaker
You could def say “opportunistic” stalkers. or they’re in the same spot same time, feeling powerful because the person with the light doesn’t see them yet.
Love this series so much. I love exploring, and this whole series makes me feel so peaceful. Even with the creepy things spying on the cameraman in the dark places, its just so interesting.
with every new videos the mystery of these videos are giving me more and more questions but I do enjoy watching these videos and seeing these old building and just wondering what happen to these places.
1:49 all this noise in the dark i still think is radiation - this can happen i think if the camera has a very high ISO but a flashlight like one used in this video i think would not... necessarily warrant that? maybe? maybe the ISO is just really high but i also feel like id be seeing the noise pretty much constantly in dark spots if it was the ISO. Then again I'm not too experienced with cameras, I am only aware of the noise effect radiation has on footage. A lot of weird stuff in this series so far has also been small details - naturally i feel it is easy to hide important things in footage like this where settings with lots of clutter and such are being depicted, and also in that other video where a compilation of some "sightings" were shown featured at least one that I had passed off as nothing which, apparently, appeared to be something if it was included there. also, the cameraman seems so tense in this one. 2:17 also feels weird. I feel like i see something in the window, but it doesnt move at all and im not exactly sure what its supposed to be.
I've definitely seen videos with that extreme noise, but considering the man's got flashlights that can illuminate whole fields, unless the lights are dimming out and that's auto-exposure compensating, I suspect you're on the right track. Even if the lights were getting dim you'd think there'd be at least a short delay between the space getting darker and then brighter again as the camera adjusts, or some sign of the light changing, but I'm not seeing anything of that nature here... so, radiation, some kind of electromagnetic interference with the camera sensor - something that introduces noise into the video signal besides a lack of light? I also feel as though the agent suspects the noise to be evident of something. I don't know if he's watching the screen as he records or if perhaps he's in some other way aware of what causes this, but so often when it happens it seems like there's a shift - often a pause to focus in the direction of the distortion. Do you think he feels/senses something or is he seeing through the camera like we are?
the ISO noise/grain is blueish-purplish and a lot choppier, it would also be nearly constant. These are not ISO artefacts, unless there's an autoexposure in play. edit: going back through the video almost frame by frame, 5:04 left side is actually an ISO increase for sure. 9:11 seems to be as well due to the sudden change in lighting as he quickly pans the camera.
This series makes me second guess myself when I think I see something I'm never quite sure and I think that's a big testament to a successful atmosphere
Is there some increases radiation? The camera had some distortion and one spot on the left got a bit smudgy later, as if the radiation would have damaged some sensors in the camera.
In one of the first videos, there’s a code at the bottom of the screen that leads to a cia archive of attempted research for “other dimensions”, I think our explorer is working for a 3 letter organization that is researching the potential danger of these dimensional pockets where only night exists. But that’s just what I think ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This vaugley reminds me of the 'the sun vanished' twitter story, mqinly because of the lack of sun and the need to move quietly to not attract unwanted attention by unknown creatures. Obviously those are very loose connections but i thought it would be fun to point out. Anyways, love these videos dude

Been dark for a while, sounds like the main character is shivering.
I suppose it would be pretty cold without the sun.
I mean it's winter at the time of filming so it's probably just that.
