Vanessa Joy is so freaking smart. She knows how to bring the game to Jason. That was so freaking clever from Vanessa to use the white poster. But Jason is also an artist for real. They are both great.
I liked Jason's pictures. I wished we could have seen him edit the photo like we saw yours. How did Jason get the blue in there? Great job as always. Very much enjoy these budget shootouts.
He use CTO gel and in post-production when you work on the white balance of the skin, the rest of the image goes to blue. I recently discovered Jason and I have to admit that I'm a big fan and I've even started to slowly incorporate his style into my work, of course it's not even close to what he does, Jason is a wizard :)
Fantastic. I love these budget gear shoot offs. Whilst it may be a bit of a cheat, I think the better flash paid off for Jason with those dramatic images. The prize for great model direction is going to Vanessa for that master class in communication.
I'm going with Vanessa's portrait as the stronger image - out of Jason's 2 I prefer the one on the left with the model at 45 degree angle. I like the mood of that one.

It's hard to judge, they are such different styles of photography. I think both are good, but I like Jason's vision a little better.

It was because I used a gel on my flash to shift the colors! 🤗
