Yeah, I didn't really like the whole mystic Gohan thing at all. Not only was there like, zero visual distinction between that and a base saiyan, but even though he was so much stronger he just threw the fight in like 10 minutes. The entire powerup should never have been included tbh. Honestly it was this powerup that changed me from enjoying Gohan's character to being annoyed by it, even up through the fight with Dabura I was fine with it, but this and then him going back to make the same not training mistake again in super? What a disappointment.

I dunno. Just like, he has good moments, but he consistently gets asspull powerups. I basically enjoyed him as a character up until the old Kai mystic powerup sequence. Now he just pisses me off.

Look at when Future Trunks met Gohan in the altered timeline, where Gohan is a teacher and a father and happier than he has ever been before when his life was combat. He makes me think of Faramir from Lord of the Rings. Not a glory hound like the people who "overshadow" him (Boromir for Faramir, Goku and Vegeta for Gohan), only fighting because of the hope of peace that it will bring.

Since pretty much all of this is taking place within a day or two since that, he is between 15 and 17 years old. By definition, in Japan, this makes him a minor. So technically he is not an adult.
