- Back in March, we rented a condo on a very high floor of the Peninsula Vallarta complex. Floor 24, to be exact. The tower featured these two Schindler elevators. I love the Euro-style fixtures.

no, they are Excel, a model that was created by Elevadores Atlas Villares in Brazil, and after Schindler bought it, it installed this model in other countries besides Brazil.

These two companies made a holding in 1999 Atlas is from Brazil and Schindler is from Switzerland
Those are definately not Euro-style fixtures. Those are probably Mexican fixtures. We don't find that in Europe neither my country.
Brazilian, made by Elevadores Atlas before Schindler bought them. Latin fixtures look a lot like European ones.
This elevator Is in Chile un the Paris departament store in the Center of Temuco
It's a Schindler 310L (not NeoLift) in fact. These were made by Atlas and exported by Schindler to other Latin countries after Schindler bought them. There is even a version of these fixtures with only the "ATLAS" branding on them. And I'm glad you all liked it, Elevadores Atlas is one of the few things that I'm proud of in my country.

Love the "rolling numbers" on the floor indicator. I wish there were these kind here in the US. Certainly MUCH better than the "acme" style floor indicator that's present in a ton of elevators here, and not to mention those buttons.
I've seen a few rolling number indicators here in the US, but not this variety
I like the fan button! Gives you a lot more control of the ride compared to American elevators.

The elevator you rode made a lot of shaft noises, did it run smoothly, or did it shake? Did the other elevator sound or run better?
They look similar to those Schindler NeoLifts sold in Latin America. Epic motor btw.

According to one of Schindler's group annual reviews (not sure which year it was), these elevators are NeoLift.

I notice how the elevator skipped floor 13?
Timothy Jacques Pretty common in hotels or other buildings. People are paranoid about staying on floor 13 because it's an "unlucky" number. Therefore floor 14 is actually floor 13 but its under an alias.
