Currently have the same heater sat at 24 degrees and feeding 12 smaller units a day and fish seem to be loving it 👍🏻

Feeding seems to be going well as the belly is not drooping. From here, our approach is to flesh out and bulk up from around the back to the waiste and tail tube.

@@dkoi-tv 6:11 I hope that one day it will become a trend that it is cool not to use such equipment there too. It is a habit of aquarium keeping of other ornamental fish; in the case of KOI it is more important to develop the observational skills to judge the condition of the KOI than testing water quality. The proof is that no one in Japan do such a thing.
@atsuminaoki9910 yes we have had this conversation before. If Japan's water was supplied out of my tap they would be testing it.
@@dkoi-tv No, the Japanese would still always see, feel and plan for the KOI. It is the same for beginners and experts alike.

Yes mate 12kw and the pond is 4800 gallon. I purchased the heater from a fellow hobbyist who closed his 6000 gallon pond and built an 8000 gallon one 🫣🫣

I have a 12kw ashp, but not a inverter one, seems to take ages to put a couple of degrees in, will watch your consumption, you can buy a plug in meter that will tell you your consumption, thanks

Bit of both there is a bracket/shelf mounted to the wall that sits on top of the boi chamber.
