I have both the Wouxun KG-Q10G and the TidRadio H8 GMRS Gen 2 and love both of them. I mainly use my Wouxun and use the Tidradio as my back up. Both have great reception and audio is great.
True...I am looking for my 1st gmrs radio and don't want to sour the experience with the wrong radio. I watch so many of these reviews it isn't even funny.

Yes, just need to all be on the same channel.

The Wouxun is a very good radio, I have two of them but the screen is worthless in sunlight so I MUCH prefer the TD-H8 over it.

well if that's a big issue for you then your choices from these 5 should be either Midland (US) or Tipradio (France)
