I started to work on Harleys in 1968 and went to full time machinist after that, All my work days were spent on manual machines where you had to know how to use rotary tables, figure out your bolt holes circles and set up with angle plates. Nobody knows that shit any more, watching you work is a real pleasure Thank you very much for yours videos, it brings me back to a time I miss a lot. John
Kinda smiled when I saw your shaved down ratchet...did mine too....also cut down a cheap gear wrench for heads too. Along with my 13/16 turned down plug socket for my dual plug...Hide them so nobody else cranks on them.....so much info....thanks
This guy knows his shit. I've watch other videos he's done and there have been a lot of knumbscull negative comments from amateurs who are dangerous with a little knowledge. ....
What is the head material on your "soft" hammer for pistons ? Preferred black wrinkle paint for late evolution motors ? You mentioned you did not use VHT but not what use use Sincere thanks
what a waste of a motor. we have a knucklehead race bike made from a 74ci motor. you can use stock 61" or s&s 3-1/2 flywheels with sleeved down 3.320 bore cylinders. you will need custom made pistons to get the job done. we used 15:1 but you should keep it down to 9:1 for the street. tatro
this playlist is all the same motor, keiths with the black lifter blocks. fred and marios motors use polished s&s lifter blocks. watch the playlist, not best videos. tatro
iv'e probably built 20 93 ci shovels over the years,so you put together a dirty dry motor no concern about the inner works, damn man u squirt oil up that pinion shaft usee it come out thru the rod bearings

"Job, da iawn," as the say here in Wales! Very good job!
the most time consuming part on the shovel's putting them dang head bolt in or out while in the frame...what a pain....lol
What is the vacuum connection for?
Hey, what is the exact name for dogbone wrench you used as extension to your torque wrench?
