I see what you did there. LOL badass
🤘
Meshuggah doesn't just have some of the most talented musicians in the world, they've also got the best light guy in the game.
And sound guy and crew
I think they're programmed now but someone had to program them which is impressive too
Meshuggah are all about Chaos to symmetry. It's all about contrast.
It sounds much more intense than the studio version.
You noticed 2 big things about this song: 1. it was thrashy in the beginning, and at the end it was very mellow and beautiful. Based on this I'd recommend Future Breed Machine, I know you don't want spoilers so I'll leave it at that, you'd like it I think, and it's a very different sound from current Meshuggah, but still very signature Meshuggah.
Dancer's to a Discordant System live is sick!
Its a crime they havent done it yet
@@obzen901 yes please! although this song is so dense, i suggest the studio version
Studio. Studio. Studio. Way better.
My all time favorite song. I allways listen to it when I am on my way to work as an elementary school teacher. Getting pumped up so I can match the children's energy
I agree 100% about Meshuggah being the heaviest band ever, they are at least in the conversation. Legends. Hail!!!
and where you put entombed, napalm death, bloodbath, obituary, broken hope, morta skuld...
@@deathmetal034 Heavy but not heavier than Meshuggah
@@deathmetal034not anywhere near as heavy imo
Suffer in Truth has always been one of my favorite Meshuggah songs. Check it out sometime.
I like that atmosperic bridge part. They should use that more. My brain usually goes a bit numb from their continuous, hypnotizing rhythms.
Meshuggah just hits hard period. 😳
🤟
Meshuggah and Vildhjarta and Allt
Three band.:. Grandfather, Father and Son 😀
Lethargica!!!!!
That breakdown gives me the fucking chills! 🤘🏼
YES!! My fav part of when I saw them this July. The atmospheric part is insane live.
Saw them a week ago and same dude same
The tour for this album was incredible (Koloss). I saw the concert on this tour in Denver, CO; it was my third time seeing them after the Catch 33 and Obzen tours. They kept getting better every tour. The idea they can play this incredibly complex music live - let alone almost perfect - boggles my mind.
Yeah, saw them in NYC... and this show was absolutely insanely incredible... counting weeks and months to a new tour, I hope they don't wait too long.
I saw them on that same tour with AAL in a small venue in Cincinnati. They were incredible. I've seen them twice since and they haven't slowed down. This December's concert was an absolute ear assault
I love this song because it revolves around that 1213 and 1214 rhythmic pattern. It’s hard to figure out but it’s so cool.
I love their formulaic approach to writing music, it's so cool
Dancers to a discordant system live next!
they started out as a prog-thrash band. check out their Contradictions collapse album
Stengah > The Mouth Licking What You’ve Bled from their Alive DVD. Or in death - is life/in death- is death live.
I’m so glad you’re reacting to more Meshuggah, I’m excited for more of these reactions, there’s so much more craziness to be seen from them.
The lighting tech is an artist too. There are videos on YT of him "playing" the lighting desk to create this performance.
STRAWS PULLED AT RANDOM!
One of my favorite Meshuggah tracks, love!
Y’all Need Thall and Thall is Vildhjarta! A must hear band!
Vildhjarta - När de du älskar kommer tilbaka från de döda (when those you love come back from the dead)(Music Video)
Vildhjarta - All These Feelings (Rehearsal Recording Video)
This song is an Unrelentingly full frontal assault, like an unstoppable war machine.
And I'm all for it.
Fucking awesome.
Meshuggah tracks are the best from you guys.
The groovy part at 3:28 gives me life.
You guys should do some Pantera!
This couple reminds me of anyone I would have hung out with and played music with in high school. Always feels like I'm hanging out with old friends on this channel. Keep it coming and God bless 🤘
You want a unique Meshuggah song? Try "They Move Below" from their last album "Immutable". It's all instrumental and collectively it's not like anything they've done.
Dancers to a discordant System (LIVE) 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Catch 33
Catch 33 in full would blow their minds
Meshuggah used to open for Tool back in the 90's; good times.
This sounds a lot like Gojira, eh?
Meshuggah has many “clean” parts like at the end of this video. I won’t spoil the songs but please check out as much of their discography as possible
One of my favorite dimmer
This song feels like I’m running away from a train
I've always loved Per Nilsson's solos live on this song
Incredible
I think he’s too busy on this track compared to Fredrik. Doesn’t serve the song as well imo.
@@lukesabin691 It only serves to break for a minute the entire setlist that almost never provides solos
@@__FuLL__ I wasn’t talking about the set list on this tour. Just the leads on this specific track.
@@__FuLL__ in case you didn’t get to see them on their Koloss or Ophidian Trek tours, I recommend you buy the Ophidian Trek dvd and/or cd to hear what I’m talking about
In death is death is my favorite
finally subbed, i'm a long time opeth fan, watched most of your opeth vids a few months ago, rediscovered you guys recently and now your playing thru polyphia and AAL that i have also recently discovered like in the past couple months. you guys are really in tune with what i like. I have never listened to Meshuggah before altho as a tool fan you hear the name come up 1000x times over the years. i'm giving this reaction video my first listening experience for meshuggah, writing this comment before hitting play. Cheers, you guys rock, hope to discover more stuff thru your videos.
I am colossus music video!
Gods of Rapture (old stuff from 1994) :)
Meshuggah - Past Tense
Try some tracks from their "Chaosphere" album. The song, "Neurotica" would be a good start. Thanks for what you guys do.
Guys! They are amazing live but you guys need to start reacting to their album versions!!!!!!!
You should go to Meshuggah's roots, see the old stuff. New Millennium Cyanide Christ Official Video.
Lfg that was 🔥
My advice would be go se them live ...... 80)
You guys need to check more songs from this album.
Great video!!! You guys need to react to behind the sun from meshuggah, it’s an absolute headbanger
guys, check out a band called mors principium est, i think you will love it
Watch New Millennium Cyanide Christ Live Montreal, is awesome. You guys are the best
Asking a Yorkshire man why he doesn't like sweetener in his tea: I LOVE MESHUGGAH!
Gojira blow me away live (the one that’s about 10 minutes)
Strings Pulled at Random
I'm not able to find this live video that they have reacted to. Can someone help me out, thanks
Hi ! Where is the original video I can't find it ? thanks !
its a stressful song for sure lol
R E L E N T L E S S
which live version is this?
From what concert is this ?
Sworm live
Looks like the last 2 song have been from the same performance. Might as well continue reacting to rest of the songs from this concert. Highly recommend checking out "Future Breed Machine" in particular which is one of the songs played.
As a Fredrik fanboy I object. He’s essential.
Yall know Mesuggah is jiddish right??
I bet you wouldn’t have survived the pits
I grew up in them
Dude this is my favorite Gojira song and its even more AMAZING LIVE! Saw them in LA and dude i was beaten up haha
This was a weird pick. Dancers to a discordant system is what ur looking for.
This band sounds like a car crash not a big fan to much screaming and to repetitive but the music is good it's ok I like Melody in my metal need to check out the band TEASTEMENT that's real thrash the song ELECTRIC CROWN,ROCK ON I love the slow stuff glade they slowed it down a bit in that breakdown
Meshuggah has plenty of songs with melody. This song in particular is pretty intense and relentless. Check lethargica, combustion, straws pulled at random, or their older albums before 2002 for more thrash-prog like songs.
next VIOLENT SLEEP OF REASON LIVE WDR
Dude where are your old videos? those you were reacting in your car
