Adrian is a great addition to the Dangar Marine channel. He has the most quirky sense of humour. Who would have thought that you would play the straight guy!
This is great new content working with Adrian on and around the river, with 225k subscribers it’s about time VB or Captain Morgan come on board for at least product placement sponsorship.
It's funny, a part of the reason I put the camera there was to see if Daffy was still roosting with her bad leg. I was half expecting her to sleep each night in the nesting box but I was pleased to see her still making the leap.
No better channel on UA-cam for being entertaining and providing tip after tip for working on your own boat. The only person who probably doesn’t like danger marine is my boat mechanic. Well now my ex boat mechanic, as I work on my own boat these days, after watching all these videos. 👍
Amazing! You've both inspired me to fix my old boat! Several trial and tribulations later she's like new again! Whew! Glad that's over! Thanks for the show, always good to watch!
Hi Stu & Adrian Thank you once again for the great video it’s good to see you work hard but you have a lot of fun doing it once again I love the banter you guys had together Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia
Another quality effort Stu and Adrian. Reminiscent of the mighty green machine. As always the finishing touch for a great weekend is an episode of Dangar Marine. BTW I buy Sikaflex by the carton. All the good stuff is sold by the carton.
I'm working on one of these engines right now. It's had water in the fuel, so the vapor separator is full of crud and corrosion. I'll replace the whole unit, it's shot. I put the injectors through the ultrasonic cleaner as they didn't look too bad. Hope to have it up and running again this week. They're pretty good engines, overall.
I see some of your Chin Hair has acquired the Wisdom Colour. In March 1986, I remember replacing my Teleflex Helm which used the same spiral Cable, which I thought was weak, with a Ride-Guide System that had a Rack and Pinon Block to which a Braided Cable was attached. Far less Play in the Ride-Guide. Did the Swap at the dealership after hours, the Mechanics and Parts Manager did most of the work, and the upper motor mounts were loose, so off came the Powerhead, and the Mounts were tightened, with Red Loc-Tite. An improperly balanced SS prop may have loosened them. Cost for all that work was a Bucket of KFC and some Beer.
In 2001 I was on the MV Betty Wood working for TECO ocean shipping and we were pulling into the Port of Tampa with a load of coal and all of a sudden the port engine bogged down. Now this is a huge 150 ft ocean going tug pushing a 500 ft Auto bar barge. It had twin EMD engines 20 cylinders each with Falk gearboxes. We had to Anchor and wait for divers to come out to unfoul the screw. We had picked up a huge line and it took them hours. Fortunately it didn't happen when we were maneuvering as it's tough to do it with one engine.
Man what a cool old boat! The other one back next to it was nice too! Love old v-hulls. Ya'll doin vids together is the best entertainment on youtube! lol. Non stop laugh riot. keep up the great content stu. Thanks for sharin!
I sure enjoy your camaraderie with Adrian you guys are just a good hoot great to see you guys getting somewhere on that motor getting that whole boat together I don't know if that's your boat or customers anyways all of us from Canada.
On Millenium Quinnies 20 odd years ago check for electrolysis between the stringers and hull. That has been an issue with them caused by a couple of key things. One, the alloy used to stretch form the hull wasn't that great, and two, carbon based rubber between the stringers and hull lead to electrolysis corrosion. A mate had his hull replaced at 2 years old! That was an interesting story in its own right.
I wish I had hair so I could prop my readers up like Stu does! 🤣 The girls are so quiet getting into their roost. I was able to get chickens this year and there's a few that hop up in the roost in the evening and make sure everyone knows they think it's time to sleep!
Nothing better than the chicken cam - I just saw Foghorn Leghorn impressing the ladies with his slender walk. I really wonder if Foghorn Leghorn would forget the lever for up and down.
Hey Stu, have there been any other attempts to steal your land vehicle? Do you remember the suggestion I made a few years ago? You should get together with the " Nulon Corporation " and create an ignition Shorting Plug that will stop the vehicle from starting if the plug is not installed. Of course you should call it....... " DON'T Start Ya bastard ! "
Thanks for the vid. Great again. I am sure you are aware of the young UA-camr who died recently in a boating accident in Pittwater (I think). I don't know if you want to go there, but it would be interesting to do a review of night safety and lights. It is a shame that a young seafarer let her life (potentially) due to shortcut that could have been simply addressed. Thanks for your contribution.
I hadn't heard about that but I'll look into it. I did do boating accident investigation for a while at Maritime and have been thinking about doing something similar to what you are suggestion. Sad that someone died.
Love the way you and Adrian know the job and what you doing but still muck about and take the piss!! Worked on a couple of small outboards not my cup of tea, do prefer in board diesel.
Hey stu , love watching your channel , just wondering if you and Adrian would be interested in a trip to Wollongong to service a couple of Detroits 4 / 53
Me being just a 'Dumb Yank', I miss a lot of the conversational interaction between you and Adrian; seems to me that Google 'translate' is needed to interpret 'Australian Queen's English' to what we are used to in the 'Colonies'. I must say that Stu and Adrian are the Southern Hemisphere's answer to Laurel and Hardy of American comedy. Jennifer would therefore have to be the Aussie equivalent of Mae West; she doesn't say much - she doesn't have to..... lol Can't wait to experience more of the levity and mayhem you all seem to come to naturally!
Love your content! Two questions for you, I have a 05 Yamaha 150 Vmax, am I able to get Enging Hours from this engine? and is there a way to clean the inside? there seems to be some mold growing on the lines. I would hate to be cleaning and damage the engine. Thanks!

Thanks mate. It has been fun having Adrian's help and friendship along the way.
I'm impressed. Adrian recognized what a spark plug is. Not something he sees everyday...
He did well! ;)
