Yeah, but then it wouldn't be 'dont worry about learning anything about the technology, pfft who wants to do that?! Nerds, thats who! Or even better, screw whatever else you're doing with your RPi, here is an ISO to flash to the sd card with absolutely no description of whag went into making it work! Now pat my back and give me upvotes!' clickbait instructables fodder..... Yes, I am indeed salty at how far the maker world has fallen. It ridiculous. At least by using the wrong terminology the 'i dont know anything beyond plug it in and download code' types are easier to spot..... Unfortunately it also means the true diamonds in the rough that wish to learn all they can about STEM will come off like the 'that sounds hard, cant I just download your code? ' type of people.....
This is not RADAR, it's RADDAR. This device gets it's distance and ranging using it's totally radness. That was not funny at all, I know 🙄 Dad-joke champion right here! 🤣
Why does there always have to be that 1 asshat know-it-all in every f*cking comment section! FFS it's not like you're directing air traffic with the damn thing!
RAdio Direction And Ranging - RADAR. You are using ultrasonics to range a sonically reflective object. This is SOnic Navigation And Ranging - SONAR. Or more precise SOnic Direction And Ranging - SODAR. Especially when using acronyms, the names for things are not colloquial, you cannot interchange them. Using the incorrect terminology is frowned upon in the STEM fields and you should feel bad. Shame on you.
A radar uses radiowaves and a sonar uses sound. "How to build your own mini sonar"would be more precise.

Yeah and ear shattering
do not think sonar isn’t loud
Actually sonar. Looks like many parts can be adapted especially the code.
it is a sonar not radar.
How can i connect this to my 8,8 cm flack?
Nice work 👍🎉😊
is there any way to increase the range of the ultra sonic sensor?
Yes. Use radio waves instead lol
Amplify the signal
@@thatguyfromca how do i make it better?
Yeah just look up radio antenna designs and do that
What about range ?
5 feet
Pretty cool but not a radar
how do you increase the distance of the object tracking to reach LEO?
you have to code it, appearently he didnt code it and it "magically" coded itself
anti-satelite missile sold separately
RANGE?
This would be sonst not radar, non the less very cool
Where do u get the wiring panels and the welding tool
It's a soldering iron.
Love it!
Good
Where you bought the parts from
can I do a bigger one to detect UFOs? Do exist upgraded higher range ultrasonic sensors?
What should I call this?
A SONAR or Radar?
Radar, sonar is underwater
sonar, because it uses sound
@@CryoBeamm that sensor is an ultrasonic sensor, so it's a Sonar. Sonar's can be both inside of and above water, doesn't matter.
Owesome
Awesome
How far does this broadcast?
it's not a radar: no radio waves, you know that right?
struggling to find the PCB, anyone able to help?
what is lidrary we linstall from arduino softwear
Hardly radar, is it ?
Where do you get the materials!?
what şs the range
Can it detect birds outside?
whats the possibilities of making one good for up to 20 foot range?
Use a good ultrasonic sensor
What's the music your using?
What’s the difference between radar and sonar?
RADAR uses radio waves and SONAR uses sound waves
@@parkermonette5397 thank you
That is a sonar.
Great easy to find someone in hide in seek
Want to buy!
components name??
Range ?
what is your code
What’s the cost for you to build one for Me?.
Can we write code for this ?
This is not very helpful for me to make a radar😢
How to make radar like aircraft's radar
🤨📸
This is so cool
Looks like a sonar to me
Guys isnt it a bit complex?
Wow😳❤️🔥
Super i like this one
Would like to track cop drones 👀
radar uses radio, this is not radio

It’s copyrighted
is it possible to make it without a custom PCB, or just a PCB
like, can you just wire it up to the nano boad
Possible, there are many other videos on same topic go and search, you'll find.
👌👌👌👌
The same video as in here: ua-cam.com/video/60Vaq52BPk8/v-deo.html posted 2 years earlier
What servo is used? Most servos will not run powered by a PP3 battery.
not radar
Doesn’t show distance. Useless
أضن هاد يعمل بل فوق الصوتية😅
BOOOOOO YOU JUST REUPLOADING SOMEONE VIDS
Another crap "radar" vid.
Not radar
