Lindsey Stirling is a world renowned violinist which is her claim to fame and is also very talented songwriter and dancer. Also, PTX has only had one member leave (Avi Kaplan) and replaced by Matt Sallee as the bass. The other 4 members have been the same since the beginning.
Kevin ( the beatboxer) has been playing cello and sax since he was very young. He's played both at Carnegie Hall in his teens. He learned to beatbox while playing the cello and called it celloboxing. That ability was what sold the rest of PTX on choosing him as their beatboxer. Lindsey is another wonderfully creative person who , like Kevin, can do two difficult things at the same time. PTX occasionally uses instruments. When they do you see them in the video. Kevin is an accomplished cellist and plays keyboard, and sax. Matt is a drummer and Scott play piano. They are amazing on all musical fronts.
Great reaction! When it comes to playing instruments, you may be surprised to hear that most of them actually can play instruments. I am certain of the following: Kevin plays the cello, Dax and piano, Scott and Mitch play the piano and Matt is a drummer and percussionist of note.
