Used to be Grian and Mumbo Jumbo. Now, for all my bedrock needs, my go to is JCPlayz for farm models and BlueNerd to polish the whole thing and make it a home. I'm always telling my coworkers who play MC about BlueNerd. By far, the best out there.

I actually prefer the shaders, It just makes everything beautiful. Keep up the good work

Here's me trying to make different automatic farms and struggling, and then this epic work of art shows up. The item sorting system needs a video on its own I think!
Thank you Elmo, The storage system is very similar to the one in this tutorial - ua-cam.com/video/AwAF2A5ui0U/v-deo.html the only difference is I use hoppers at the top of the system instead of the water stream =)

As for the shaders, I'd say that they're perfectly fine to be enabled during let's plays. For tutorials, you might consider doing the same as in this video, because not everyone uses them and they could confuse some people. It's a video to show off your build though, so it looking pretty is perfectly fine imo.
I don't really mind if you use shaders or not. Love your builds! I'm excited to do something similar. I normally spread out my farms but i like your approach of everything condense and easy to get to.
If you may: show is detail how to link each farm to a central storage unit. I'm familiar with how to set up most of those farms, but linking them all up is what terrifies me.
The only time shaders bother me is when it's a tutorial where flowing water is important. Otherwise, it's up to the content creator's preference.

This type of content for you is as good as it gets in my opinion. The way you almost, kind of do a tutorial but it's really just you showing us what you're up to. Then you stop to explain the redstone part and continue on. Always love the block by block tutorials but this is amazing.
It's nice seeing what it looks like in vanilla if people wanted to use your builds as inspiration. Sometimes shaders changes the look a lot if you try it without

Blue, you are one of the few UA-cam channels that keep my mood up. My parents are separating (not divorcing, which is totally different) and trying to work things out, but it's been difficult. Minecraft is a safe haven and coping technique for me and my sister. Keep up the building and inspiration, Blue.

Really nice episode, enjoyed it a lot :) I honestly prefer time lapses with shaders and pretty much the rest without. It's so much better to get an idea of what the builds really look like in vanilla since I don't use shaders myself but get a lot of inspiration from your content

I think you should not play with shaders, but at the end of each episode, you should use shaders to show off whatever you built in that episode :) keep up the amazing work

( I wouldn’t suggest it for content on the channel as vanilla is more accessible but I do think you might enjoy it?)

Sorry buddy but I disagree, just like any other mods, shaders should be used as the player see's fit. Some love them, others not so much and some like yourself only like them in cinematics only. The truth is as a creator you can never please everyone, and from votes in my polls the majority prefer them with shaders so that's why I stick with them.

Still loving the videos! Definitely feels good getting all these farms set up and then build while the farms get all the goodies in the background. Auto farms are such a relief when done.

I'm. Not gonna lie I don't actually watch these survival builds but atleast let them play out to the end while I Potter about and ofcourse 👍 to keep blues video up high in the almighty UA-cam algorithm, and excited for the large project to come. In my eyes on of the best minecraft builders out there

So long as shaders dont change how the blocks look (which i suppose is a texture pack not a shader), i dont mind shaders but i do think not using shaders the entire video will help those who dont have shaders better and leave shaders to showcases or highlights...this is just my opinion, and far be it for me to tell a creator how to do his job, but thats my 2 cents on the matter💖 love the work Blue, and always excited to see ur video pop up in my notifications
I prefer without shaders for the main as I don't have any on my system so it gives me a better idea of palette and detail that I can achieve. Love a post build shader view though!

you use a really mild shader, so for me its whatever you'd like. usually i like to keep it without just because its easier to see blocks and unfiltered scenery.
its great without shaders but if u had the color contrast like impulse it would've been nice

Man, this farm is REALLY COOL! In the next episode (when you will finish the farm) you can aslo build a nether house (at the nether of course) with the new types of wood (blue and red wood). I think that's a pretty good idea. And in an another episode, you should go to the End to beat the Ender Dragon! Endcitys have aslo op loot so, it's worth it to try!!!

When I watch these videos to get some ideas for my builds, it is way more helpfull without shaders.
What can I say Blue but man can you build dude. This was unbelievable and how you kept everything straight and organized is just crazy. I am lucky if things fit and normally a few blocks off. I am amazed that you got all of those farms in that area and producing that much resources is great. Can not wait for the Moss and Bone meal farms to see how you handle those. This is a fabulous series and loving every minute of it. So much so that I watch them a few times in case I miss something. Keep up the great work and can not wait for the next one. 😄☕

Wow... How do you go about planning your all of these great ideas? And how do you know how many blocks you need for making everything look so very well placed?
I feel the shaders make it more cool and unique since many survival series do not have shaders

Personal preference but in the first few minutes of the video you made a checkerboard floor, although your design for it was nice and had more of a smooth texture, I think a bit of character is introduced when you don't strip the spruce logs

Play without shaders we like to see the builds better but when it's a timelapse or cinematic scene than we want shaders.
The time and effort that you put into these Videos is absolutely amazing! I really love each and every one of the Videos that you put out. But have you maybe thought about making them a little bit longer, you could easily make it a half hour Video for all the things that you pack into them.

Hey, just found your videos and really enjoy them. I've played Minecraft only creatively for years, but am looking to get into survival finally. This video was amazing showing what you can do even in survival. I have a question that may be easily answered but I am not seeing it.
I know you have the hoppers, repeaters, etc and chests in the middle that fill up with the different items (melons, carrots, etc), and I see how in each farm you have hoppers beneath the dirt. How do the items get from the hoppers under the dirt, or in the water (for the kelp) over to the main chests area and then sorted properly? This automation farm is incredible, but I cant wrap my head around what is going on once the item grows. What how do the items get into the hoppers underneath? How do they get to the chests? What do the pistons do? What are the villagers needed for? Again, I have only ever played on creative, so I am not aware of any of this stuff, so your information is greatly appreciated.

I like it without shaders. Then you can put a showcase with shaders when done.
BTW When you walk your camera goes up and down a little bit but you smoothly hover over things do you use a special mod for that?
Thank you king, I have the bobbing setting turned off so that's why the camera is so smooth and not going up and down =)
Don’t mind either way. Shaders are visually pleasing, but vanilla doesn’t look bad these days, either
