no no it wouldn't I really like the machine just heard that it gets hot and others say it's not bad guess it depends on what you plan on storing I guess thank you for the review.
Very nice Kodiak SE! Good job on the walk around video! I was wondering if you have had any problems with the black paint they put on the aluminum wheels getting scratched and scuffed by rocks revealing the natural aluminum finish under the black paint? I was thinking that over time the paint on the wheels might wear away from scrubbing on rocks and such. I am trying to decide between the 2016 Grizzly SE and the Kodiak SE models, what things made you choose the Kodiak over the Grizzly? Thanks!
+Palomino488 Listen... the 2 main differences between the kodiak and grizzly is the clutching and the size. The clutching of the kodiak is geared lower for more work ethic. (still does great in trail) But the Grizz on the other hand is geared towards all sport. Size; the kodiak seat height is over an inch shorter then the grizz. The overall height of the bike is also shorter. I went with the kodiak because it is over 2 g's cheaper and also fits me better; being 15. So, it really depends what your looking for in the bike. Overall though, they are both great!
+Palomino488 To be honest, yes i have. The paint on the rims is very sensitive. Yet, on the other hand the body paint wont get scratched. They did do a good job w the material of their body paint.

Yeah it is. But there's a way to bypass it in reverse but I'm not sure how.
well please let me know if u find out.
+Michael. j Arciero I will thanks.
yes, that was the goal for yamaha. They wanted to make a small size bike w a big bore engine.
Does anybody know how to bypass the reverse rev limit on the base kodiak 700 2016.
i dont think you can because the override button is for dif lock
how hot does the front storage compartment get?
It gets warm, but it shouldnt stop u from buying the machine. I keep my manual, winch manual, and some supllies in there. Works great!
