I’m James. That was me at the end of the video lol. It was so cool to meet Caleb. I go to this convention every year and I remember checking the website and being hyped to see you there as one content creators being there. It was a great convention. I picked up some SNES and N64 games to fill out my collection and it was a great time. By the way I wanted to let you know there is another Midwest Gaming Classic happening in April. Meh, I’d rather the end user buy them for a better price….he buys them then charges every last cent he can get out of it…..it inflates the market…but hey to each their own
I love his sale style of getting them to come down in lrice. So many people are scared to ask for a lower price out of fear of offending the vendor or person youre buying from. There no such thing as a stupid question and also even if you ask someone a question remember that the worst they can tell you is no
Do you realize that the prices are there for a reason? In a shop you can't simply start slashing prices because you want, if there is a discount involved some kind of paperwork will be required, otherwise what would stop a seller to sell something for a price and then cash part of the money claiming it was a "deal"....
In a convention is different because you could sell your mother and as long as you receive in cash no one cares.

I was stunned how much a sealed copy of modern warfare 2 was. It was such a common game you would think there’s a lot of overstock of sealed copies somewhere. I can sort of understand Kirby as it’s such an old game and rare for anyone to have anything still sealed.
My thoughts exactly. I watched that part of the video multiple times to see if it was a special print version of the game or something. It looks to be a normal first print (not a "Not for Resale" copy). I'm not exactly sure where the vendor got $550 value, and why Caleb was willing to spend $475. Any insight on this would be appreciated as I am truly confused by this.
Kirby 100% makes sense. I might actually try to buy it from Caleb, but might be too rich for my blood.

@@ZBatt1 I mean it is kinda his job. A hustle is a hustle. It's up to people to either sell to him or buy from him. He is not forcing anyone. Also it's not like he can be 100% certain that he will move all of the games. He is taking a risk.
the only ROI in this video are the vendors getting their inventory taken by some youtuber. 200 ROI is nothing on a huge tub like that, the amount of time spent on listing AND selling everything is a huge waste of money. not worth 200 imo.

Yeah I was confused as well. New MW2 for 360 is like $50 on Amazon. It isn't even the hardened edition.

Man I so wish I would of been able to go to this being I live the state over. It’s super cool though that booth you bought the 3ds with the stickers on it, their locals to me and they have retro video game garage sales almost every weekend and I’m always there, so super cool to see them in your video!

I had that Illusion of Gaia shirt back in 1995 it’s was promotional shirt that came with the video game. My local rental store gave it to me back when that was a thing.

Idk how I feel about this. I understand that grown men are free to do business as they please.. however I'm thinking about the smaller collectors like myself whom I'm positive would have found some stuff they really want at the booths and that's what conventions are about IMO he's buying a huge percentage of the desired yet affordable games. I just feel like alot of smaller fish missed out..Caleb I can't knock a good hustle and your one of the best and most active that I watch. It was just a thought 🙏👍

Thinking the exact same thing, I’ve got a sealed copy sat at home as I type this and I know its not worth that much you can get sealed copies on amazon for £15.

Margins far too low on this for solid bulk purchasing. I would've split the bins and carried them both up, then offered individually. You don't have to break on a higher price. If you have two or more sales, and you do one at a time, you're likely to get a better deal because they don't want to lose negotiation on the second item. Also consider the time spent listing. Only a $200-250 profit on a full tub isn't much of a score.
The sealed COD Mw2 was a ripoff too. Sold listings on eBay are between $70-$200.

Ela re, Download yard sale treasure map. Shows all yard sales in your area for the week. And if you pay $5 a year you can actually filter the exact days they are on if it’s not in the description. This isn’t the only way to find them, but it helps. You just gotta get lucky sometimes
