Thank you.. Tell me better, how did you create the paint effect with Kelly? Or is it in one of the template room videos? I created something similar, but with PowerColorDirector
I take it the SVRT thing is only available with a paid subscription? Cause that "show SVRT track" isn't an option for me. I'm just trying to get the videos to play back smoother after I increased the video playback speed. Anything over 5x looks like claymation or stopmotion filming. It's horrible.
Is there a PD365 tutorial on editing remotely? I have a cheap laptop but a nice desktop. Can I remotely log in to my desktop and edit video? I would assume all the content has to be stored on my home PC.
No video that I'm aware of. Haven't tried to do that. You can ask about it on the PowerDirector Forum. The link is on my channel under the About section.
The preview of videoclips in PD is very laggy and choppy on my pc. Even with full HD 1920x1080 videoclips. Tried all kinds of settings but nothing really helps. I have Wondershare Filmora on my compare and the preview of clips is very smooth. Even with 4k clips! I have a pc with a AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, Nvidia RTX 3070 8gb, 32gb of ram, 2x M2 1tb ssd and a Gigabyte Aorus X570 motherboard. Not a slow pc I think. Still the preview of clips in PD is terrible! Do you have any Idea what could be wrong? Hope you can help! Thanks.
Have a question about rendering quality: what is the best settings for 4k render bit rate setting? I had a screenshot of the settings, but i've lost it.
Any tips on how to render my video faster on a MacBook Air? It’s taking forever. The clip is about 40 min long. Does it really take 3 plus hours? Any help would be appreciated
2nd QUESTION: Why is it that my edited video is larger than the full one? For Example, I had a 5 minute video of a boat in water that was 29 MB. I cut out 2 minutes of it and after I produced it, the shorter version was 39 MB. ?????
Sup, mine takes forever to render when it only use to take about 6-8 hrs. Please help. Even after doing these settings mine can go all night & not finish at all.
I have a RTX 2080 with a i7 .... All i am trying to do is render a specific video clip/clip on my timeline so that i can preview as I put my project together. When I click on the clip that I want to render it stays stuck on 0%. I have no idea as to why usually when i render just a video clip it renders fairly quick... now it is stuck on 0% and I have no idea why? I AM NOT TRYING TO PRODUCE just previewing clips so this should be a non-issue. I have all the boxes checked that you have on your video and have had them that way for a while. All of my software and hardware is up to date. Can you help a brother out... all of a sudden Render is not my friend. SMH
I did all of things including everything on the second video, it sure made my video producing fast but now my fps is has a high frame rate, the video does not come out smooth like before, why is it doing that?
Kind of have the same problem since the latest update if I use hardware acceleration my vids render a bit choppy looking like it's skipping frames but is smooth if I don't use the acceleration
@AL-ud2is I figured out how to put it back on 60 frame retes per second, you have to go back and click on the little sun icon the (see user preferences)on the top right corner then on the (general) tab change the settings back from 30 NTSC fps to 60 fps NTSC hope this helps

It seems like AMD supports the most video formats for fast rendering, but which is faster for rendering? I ask because I'm looking to build a new video editing rig.
@@DarkXenoGaming Sgadow files are temporary files that need to be rendered and should make editing smoother. If you want a smoother editing experience shadow files may help but you would have to wait for them to render. I don’t use shadow files because my specs are high enough that my editing experience is smooth without needing shadow files to be rendered.

Thanks so much , been watching you channel for years now and you have been so helpful to me,thanks again.Paul.
Glad to know I’m helping you create.
Good explanation which cleared many of my doubts... including SVRT
Thank you so much! You're a legend!

Are there any cons to using hardware acceleration? Does it affect quality in any way?
thank you for this this, i was going mad trying to figure it all out!!
Thanks for all this information Maliek..
You’re welcome.
VERY usefull!! Thanks a lot, Maliek!

Super helpful, Malik! U Rock!

Thanks for getting this out there!

Not really. You should probably reach out to CyberLink

You can do whatever settings you like. There is no best. I would go with the highest possible bit rate to get the best quality image.

show svrt track doesn't show up in the list when I right click a track. Newest version of 365

It takes a very long time to render
My SVRT options are all red?
That stinks
Mine too?? How do I fix this

This is by far my biggest issue with PowerDirector. Every other software I use, I don't have to render a preview to edit my video.
You don’t have to render a preview with PowerDirector either. I don’t have shadow files enabled so I’m using the source files when I edit.
@@PDU_Tutorials it is super choppy if I don't, even on low quality preview settings. How do I disable shadow?
@@DarkXenoGaming Not choppy at all for me. Depends on your specs. You can go to preferences to find the option for shadow files
@@PDU_Tutorials I think my specs are ok, since other editing software is smooth. I'll give the shadow files a shot. Thank you.

This wasn't very helpful because of my SVRT is solid red even though my files that I imported were all MP4 to begin with
