- Sometimes P-Bandai kits aren't just simple recolors, and this right here is one of them. Essentially a 1.5 redesign of the MG Dom with some new parts, this is the MG Dwadge!

The articulation is pretty good considering the Dom just slides across the ground and usually just shoots from afar or rams forward with the banana saber
Honestly, the original MG Dom has aged incredibly well. It was WAY ahead of its time, with a double bend at the elbow, 2.0-style hands, and a really nice head design.

I feel like bandai is spitting on our faces with these P-bandai mg re-releases with some important changes ....
Caio Bomfim kinda wish that they would just make limited products, without have it on p-Bandai web shops. I get that these kits are obscure but at the same time. It offers more variety to what you would want with your kit.
@@mr.cranker8086 The point behind the webstore is that they have precise pre-order numbers and can adjust production to fit demand. Going to retail puts them at risk at over and under production and the issues they entail (no price stability).
They might make a purple one as a regular release...
They could be testing the market for a dom 2.0
They could at least throw a beam bazooka in there

Dowadge is awesome, and because it sold so well, I'm PRAYING for a Dom tropen, i bet you it'll be p-bandai but I'd buy 3 tropens.
I honestly don't mind the lack of action base capability as the Dwadge is a ground unit anyways
And also a hover-type mobility machine
So expecting it to have splitting legs and supporting ankle movements sounds stupid

Well the dom was mede before actions were made. Also I’d recommend the mg gelgoog Ver 2.0. Cause is a pretty good kit for what it is. I would say go for char’s but it doesn’t come with the grenade launcher for the beam rifle
What is a good Gelgoog mg? The hg's are kinda meh.
@@jaketheberge1970 the version 2.0 is an incredible kit. It has a complete multi-layered inner frame, amazing articulation, and both versions have some great accessories. The Mass Production one comes with the grenade type beam rifle, and Char's comes with Lalah Sune and her car!

Great review, love the ye old Zeon type suits, i own the original Dom and it looks really good, for a 90's kit, it has it's flaws ofc but this kit shares some of them but all in all a great looking kit. can't wait to get this one for myself and have them both on the shelf together.

10:00 hey watch it! I don't recall a Dwage having to be more flexible in the arms. It's hover legs did most of the job.

Those upgrades are more than welcome, and for a Dom it's actually great. Lots of leftover parts though. Bandai is either going to make a full 2.0 Dom, or give it the 1.5 treatment like they did on the Ex-S.

I really liked this kit. The MG Dom was one of my first Master Grade kits, so it was a great blast from the past. I wish they gave us the Unicorn colors version first, but oh well. I gave mine one of my extra Zaku Machine Guns instead of the Bazooka.

Dom runners = Dom specific parts
Dwadge runners = Dwadge specific parts
MS-09 = Shared runners for all mobile suits in the line, so Rick Dom, Zuom, Dom R35, etc.

@@fauxvier8519 but the first half of ZZ wasn't even a good comedy series. It was mediocre at best. The characters are annoying, the jokes don't land and there are a multitude of other problems. Like I said. The second half is very good. But the first half is just blegh.

The Pezun Dowadge was the final version of the Dom.
The Dowadge is a ground type mobile suit. So no surprise it had no way to fly, they're just being faithful!

I would personally love a kit of the Pezun Dowadge from MSV. It's the successor to the dom, and it had a really cool design.

In fairness to the Dom, and the Dwage-
They're meant to hover, so articulation wasn't exactly a priority even in actual combat usage, since they could move in virtually any cardinal direction at any given time. At least for the legs, that is.

@@MechaGaikotsu I'm scared to say that the possibilities are rather high for what it's worth. They're gunning for semi-obscure MSs and the Pezun Dowadge was featured in the Gundam Side Stories along the G04 and G05. They made the Blue Destiny and Pale Riders as well as the Efreets (plural meaning almost all of them) so why not a conehead along with the Galbaldy Alpha? They did release an Act Zaku too IIRC. Logically, Conedom is right around the corner. :3

it could be great if bandai make the Geze at also come from the ZZ gundam plus it comes in 3 color the normal color then Yazan colors and the GBF color. ( look it up if you don't know it or you forget about it.)
is a 1999 dom whit some new parts for the rotation legs, shoulders an minimum details, I named dom v 1.5
Welp, i got bit by the gunpla bug with the high grade shining break and i just finished a high grade exia repair 2. And with the exia, i have to say that mail carriers are assholes, mishandling the package marked "fragile" causing the right chest piece to break, number 17, the piece that moves with the shoulders. Luckily the break didn't effect assembly too much other than now being unable to have the yellow vent piece as it's that particular area that got split off.
Hopefully the carriers are a bit more careful with the real grade exia coming early next month. I will be livid if they break an important part on one of the runners.
Also, i noticed your videos make the high grades and real grades look larger than they really are, put a bic pen or something by them to emphasize scale every now and then.

But you will get the standbase adaptor when you buy the standbase it self and it have a diferent size...
Why would you want to have Dowadge flying on an action base? Dowadge is built to hover on the ground. So its non-compatibility with an action base is not necessarily a negative.
In theory, beam sabre could cut through a heat rod. Heat rod is made of matter whereas beam sabre is pure energy (ok fine, high energy particles). Yet in the anime and manga when beam sabre meets heat hawk, it acts like physical, block-able sabre!

Based from your review, what you said about Bandai's Zeon kits, I hope they stop being so bias towards the Feds and start hitting a lot of the Zeon kits all the way home (look Bandai we know the Gundams come from them but you can't be one sided! Go watch Unicorn again learn from the show you earn money off of!). Personally while watching Gundam while younger didn't care for the Zeon Zakus, but as I've gotten older I've learned to appreciate their craftsmanship and their effectiveness in combat.
Can you use the left over part to convert a Rick Dom into a Dom?
