Electronic Audio Experiments’ The Bard is an homage to the late 70s / early 80s Music Man HD130 amp and its unique tube power amp / solid-state preamp arrangement that resulted in pristine cleans, wide frequency response, and a singularly trashy overdrive character. Like its inspiration, The Bard features a dynamic, sparkling character with a glassy edge, particularly when set Bright in the medium gain ranges.Level and Drive are wide ranging, from clean and shiny to heavy drive. Pushing Level results in an excellent clean boost. Low and High knobs are passive bass & treble controls, respectively, offering 15dB of range in their respective frequency spectrums. They can take you from fat and woolly to sharp and angular. In this demo we start by taking The Bard on a full band journey into the angular zone, employing its glassy, three-dimensional sound on guitar and bass VI, then we dive into the controls to give you a taste of its capabilities.

woah, I had one of those amps! Took pedals like a champ and was a brute workhorse of an amp. Heavy as fuck though. Damn, I'll probably have to grab/trade for one of these eventua;lly.
