I love Creed fragrances. Are they all beast mode in projection and longevity? No, but that’s not the value you search for with creed. You want unique, smooth, well-blended and amazing scent fragrances. I want 5-8 hours on my fragrances in general. I prefer wearing evening scents that I love but don’t last more than 4-5 hours in which many of my creeds, while last longer than 5 hours, I use in the evening as they’re more of a “be discovered” and “not announced” in their projection. They make me feel well balanced in the evening after long days of work. I find value in Creed, many don’t but that’s dependent upon what they want their money to buy in results.
I traded xerjoff tony iommi, (which i only payed $120 for) a discontinued armani code absolu plus $150 for this. So pretty much payed $270 over a 2 year period of time for this. If i payed full retail id lose my shit. Smell is great. I get 8 hours but its so flat after an hour tops. The only reason im not selling it is because its sold out everywhere and most likely its not in production anymore
The name sounds stupid and backwards. I think it should be Aventus Absolu. Plus, THE PRICE!!! 😳 I have Aventus and Aventus Cologne, but the price of Absolu is just ridiculous!
There is no reasonable way to justify the price of this fragrance. Creed fragrances are difficult to justify anyway, but this takes the biscuit. I just pop to my local department store and spray this all over. So far, I've received one compliment, which only occurred because I asked my wife if she liked it and she said "yes." I will never pay for this.
I heard of the reformulation of creed aventus is due to regulation in EU... I guess so much percentage of oils can be used in one product. But that's what I've heard, not sure if it's true or not.
It's a great fragrance and you are right it does smell like other fragrances you have smelled before. What I think happened is someone took Aventus and created those other fragrances you smelled before and then what Creed did is they did the same exact thing or close to it rather, and came up with very similar results. It's definitely along the lines of Dior sauvage elixir
Owning several batches of Creed Aventus and Owning a 2014 120ml ( 4oz bottle) I absolutely get no similarities to any of the different batches of Creed Aventus. Lol Off my skin there's no denying that it smells like a lighter version of dior sauvage elixir with added citrus on top! Even with the supposed pineapple in it " there's no resemblance to the original fragrance in my opinion.
i have the parfums vintage version. not quite accurate, but the performance is even better. this isnt my favorite opening, but i think i enjoy the dry down more than the other creeds
If it is still available for sale, even on Maxarona, which it is and if you got a discount on it and if it smells like Sauvage Elixir, you have probably got a fake one. The real Absolu Aventus doesnt smell like you described in your video. Now, nobody really know how it really smells like unless you actually paid a full price from authorized retailer in the three months it was available. Sorry to burst your bubble.
No you are mistaken and by a lot. Not sure why you are speaking as if you're an expert, but your comment tells otherwise. I purchased mine from the Creed boutique store and it does smell somewhat like Sauvage elixir. Sorry but not sorry to tell you this! Remember your sense of smell is not "absolute" so you are not the go to person for everyone's nose.
Smelled this at launch at Nordstrom and saks and it's definitely Sauvage Elixir. I even got a sample sent directly from Creed amd it also smells like Sauvage Elixir. The similarity is there but a bit weaker making for a more wearable version of Sauvage Elixir as the OG is too strong for my liking.
It’s a nice fragrance but… I’ll just layer the OG aventus with apex and save my money 😊. Great review.
I understand!
I love it so much man. That touch of grape fruit was everything.

The price is steep indeed!
Yeah but it blasts all over the place. That addition of grapefruit. Is wild.
Also discounters ALWAYS have it on sale.
@@Redolessencejust bought a bottle of tuxedo the big bottle! It’s amazing! Is maxaroma a legit site for creed?
Got a bottle at launch but I find myself using Sauvage Elixir more. But whenever I use Absolu Aventus I almost always get a compliment
Its just OKAY. Aventus is not the KING it used to be anymore. Price and bottle size not match the performance .
I have question the maxaroma sells authentic perfume because I want to buy these absolu aventus ???
??
Finally something from creed that’s a masterpiece after the original

Yeah, I agree. That's why I say it's best to get it at a discount.
I have only smelled the original and I really like it...on a Man of course 😂😂.... Thank you for sharing this review
I absolutely love MaxAroma ❤❤

My favorite Aventus
Great review. I love this scent. I like the original just a little bit more. Only, because it's more versatile.
sauvage elixir is the big brother of this one, and this one is right in between aventus and sauvage elixir
Yep. Original mix plus grape fruit plus Dior sauv elixir.
I think Aventus Absolu is OK. An Aventus for winter.
My SOTD: MDCI Bleu Satin.
❤ amazing one!!!thanks
Thank you for watching!
Funny I bought one and still haven't smelled it..tossed it in the drawer with a bottle of regular metal cap aventus..
Nah, you didn't
@@neo7759yeah fr dude is all cap
This is my favorite Aventus, Aventus cologne a close second, and the original in 3rd,. I’m shocked you haven’t reviewed the original.😂
Can you get your hands on the new Invictus aqua 24? And do a review? Thanks!

I steven, great video. You think reminiscence patchouli replace / good alternative psichedelique jovoy?
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day

At first, I tried it in the store and found it delightful. However, after several months of owning a full bottle, I’ve grown weary of it.
Never can beat out the original Aventus huh?
New diet? Damn u lost weight.
Absolu Aventus is just a sauvage elixir clone....
Great 👍, the only issue is the high price.it is a pass for me
Hey Steven, let's hear your thoughts on this one
❤️🔥😊
I was able to get a bottle early on at a decent price.
👍❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for watching!
Hope all is well!
@@Redolessence you are number 1
👍👍👍👍
I have NO idea what just happened but my interest in this fragrance just went to zero. It's sounds boring and redundant
i like it
