- Hey there, happy Fathers Day everyone and today we are ranking/reviewing the 6 numbered entries in the Street Fighter series. I want to give a shoutout to Capcom for providing a key for SF6 very cool. Let me know your favorites down below!
#streetfighter #streetfighter6 #sf6
I would argue the Alpha series constitutes a mainline game considering they called it Zero in Japan and is canon to the main story.
Street fighter 2
Art is looks so good to me but alpha 3 is my favorite but that’s probably just nostalgia
Props to sticking to your guns. I have nothing against 3rd strike in fact, i love it. But everyone seems to rate it as the best game ever.
My ranking of the six main Street Fighter games and the Alpha trilogy are;
9. Street Fighter
8. Street Fighter Alpha
7. Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition
6. Street Fighter Alpha 2
5. Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
4. Street Fighter Alpha 3
3. Street Fighter 6
2. Super Street Fighter 4
1. Street Fighter 2 Turbo
damn you got some spicy takes here
😂😂
Just one important detail: in Japan Street Fighter Alpha was called Street Fighter Zero, I mean is a numbered entry (a prequel to Street Fighter II) in the series, furthermore, in the arcade mode of Street Fighter V there is a custom arcade mode for EVERY Street Fighter main entry....and surprise surprise there is one for Street Fighter Alpha....so your ranking is nonsense by any means. I dont have any problem with new people joining de street fighter fandom and how you order the games for a ranking is up to you of course....but I can not take that you left the Street Fighter Zero series out, please try to know your staff better. The video on the other side is pretty good, but I disagree in how you talk about Street Fighter V, is an awesome fighting game, but of course, if SF IV is the modern SF II, and SF VI is the modern SF III....you got it, SF V is the modern SF Zero a game you consider a spin off and not a main entry.....so it all makes sense....
Street fighter 6 is fun af, but honestly, I should’ve got it for Xbox. I recently got me a ps5 to get the game, and its really hard getting used to the D-pad and L3 buttons being opposite from the Xbox’s controller. It’s so much easier on Xbox imo
Yeah the series x controller is perfect for fighting games. I got it for SF6 on steam and found inputs to be much easier using it.
Bricks, and I have to agree with you Street Fighter 6 is also my number 1 favorite Street Fighter
I’m getting close to agreeing with you all. Still feel like 4 was a bit better (especially if you played Sagat day 1) and the expansions to the roster was a big factor. It’s too early to judge 6 vs 4 as my favorite but I think it’s very possible. So happy that V-Trigger is where it belongs (in the toilet). SFZero should be on this list as it was technically numbered in Japan and I would have it ranked at #3 (above 3 but below 4&6).
6 probably plays great, but it looks too hip hop influenced for me.
same. Gotta keep up with American trends I guess.
ive been playing third strike against really good players and win(for the most part). third strike is not that deep. the gameplay mechanics are simple enough and just reaalllyy tight, which make 3rd strike the most competitive and best fighting game ever. the only deep gameplay mechanics are unintentional quirks that make some moves even better than originally used. stuff like kara-demon, kara-thows, overheads from specific characters that are invincible to throw, etc etc
3rd strike ain’t a street fighter game. At least in a way that’s anywhere near traditional
For me its: 2, Alpha, 3, EX (1st one only), 6, 4, 5, then 1. The original would still be last place if I include anything else like the vs Capcom series (mid-tier) or the Movie game (bottom tier)
For the record, I only have 6 in front of 4 & 5 is because of the World Tour mode. While by itself, that mode isn't great, I really enjoy leveling up a created character. Otherwise those 3 are really interchangeable. I simply don't care for the 3D ones as much as the 2D games.
Sounds like you made your list based entirely on how they look
EX2+ is way better than EX1. Why do you think otherwise?
Great video. Can you do Top Kingdom Hearts Games please
I actually agree across the board
I haven’t had the chance to play SF6 yet because I do not have the luxury of time in life but it definitely looks to be the best
My personal favorite is IV because it’s the one I played the most of
If u want to know your wallet will be sad tho if u want to get like mine, it cost $110 like how (edit: it is the deluxe version which is at stores
@@Imverymini the only reason your wallet has to be sad is if it’s a waste of money
If you’re enjoying the game and having fun then it’s not a waste ergo your wallet doesn’t have to be sad
Or just wait for a discount it’ll come eventually
@@kruegerpoolthe13th well I only had $112 dollars, so I only had approximately 2 dollars left. 🙂
I got Platinum and it took me all night long
Streetfighter 6 as num 1 😂😂😂😂
I’m really annoyed at this Third Strike take. No, 4 is not dumbed down compared to 3. Both 4 and 5 have a higher mental stack than 3, as both have more universal mechanics to keep track of. You see a parry and immediately assume it’s the deepest fighting game mechanic. That’s not how that works 😂
In fact, a parry that strong really flattens the game the higher you go. It makes parry your best defensive option at almost any given moment. As Moment 37 showed, it makes supers even riskier when not done off a hit confirm so everyone always hit confirms their OP Chun super now. There is a reason it has never come back that strong, and especially not for free instead of as a resource cost like in 6.
By deep he means that if you don't understand the meta of this game you will never land a hit on an experienced player. When you're down the meta is to block then delay jump at 5 frames to beat strike and throw, the counterplay is to do a delayed strike, but the player downed can strike first for a counterhit and so on. If you dont know these option selects you'll always guess incorrectly. The next titles are straight forward you dont have to guess on your own oki offense and its meta is more conventional and intuitive. I really don't understand what you mean by higher mental stack due to universal mechanics. Its not like v trigger is something you have to react too like drive impact so it doesn't contribute to the mental stack its just an expanded moveset.
i honestly feel like sf5 is a bit better than sf4
i did pick it up late though so i cant really talk for how bad the launch was but i think the V mechanic is better than focus attack and critical arts are more begginer friendly than super and ultra combos
SF 4 Ultra is the best imo followed by SF 3.
Dude roost street fighter 1 for almost 2 minutes 😂😂😂😂😂
Man, these games sure are neat, if only you had the ability to drink s o o p
AIn't no way you'd put 6 on top. It defo below 3 and 4..
Third strike is the most overrated fighting game ever made. Half the people that say it's the best SF don't even play it, they just parrot whatever their favorite FG UA-camr says online. 4 is really good, but as an overall package it doesn't compare to 6. The number of systems and character expression in 6 dwarfs everything in 3 & 4.
@@dickthebirthdayboy2132 6 is gay so its bad. Would rather play 5.
@@panthekirb7561 no need to hide the fact you are a closet gay man. stop being so insecure.
Not really
SF6 just feels so boring. If I wanted to play xenoverse, I'd play xenoverse. If I wanted to play an arc systems game, I'd simply do that too. Feels like a lazy blending of much better games currently out to market. Hell the melty blood remake has smoother control
Except it's not xenoverse? You can ignore the avatar stuff and play it as simply a street fighter game, which it's a fantastic example of. Also how is it anything like an Arcsys game? You mongoloids are just spouting jibberish.
Also Melty Blood is a fucking terrible game lol. The shield crap breaks that game and every single character has the same combo route.
But arcsys has never made a good game
@@Shodan130 yeah okay bud.
@@Vishkala jokes aside arcsys make FG’s that are very different to sf games, personally I can’t stand arcsys fighters. Saying that arcsys is straight up superior to street fighter just shows a lack of understanding of why people like street fighter
@PearseMclaughlin I didn't say they were superior to the franchise I'm saying 6 is a massive step back from older street fighters, it doesn't feel like a street fighter game it feels like an arcsys game but not as solid. I would rather play street fighter 5 again which is a blast nowadays. Just amazing how removed from the pinnacle that was 3rd strike its all become.
This list sucks
