End of Days will always be the most God awful flick to end the 90s. Arnold vs. the devil is the most ridiculously absurd in filmmaking history. This was the End of Days of Arnold's career as a bankable action star. Batman and Robin and Jingle all the way were more fun outing but the last action movie he did before this was Eraser which fell flat but I was excited for it and do remember enjoying. I remember them really pushing this I couldn't get myself to care at all. I wish they actually made this as a Doom film set on Mars as opposed to have it be set on Earth. Since Arnold could have pulled off an Amazing Doom Guy. Plus that would be sweet seeing Arnold take on a hoard of Demons with a crap ton of guns plus seeing Arnold use the BFG. Just a shame that golden opportunity will never come seeing as how Arnold is too old and is not as cool as he used to be. With Hollywood possibly botching it up again with more wokeness Doom doesn't need. But what do I know? Also. Wow, just seeing this review. I worked on this film for over a year and haven't seen it in forever. It was a crazy shoot and while I wasn't on set all the time, I'll never forget walking into this amazingly beautiful church in downtown LA and seeing the giant Satan puppet set up in front of the altar (although they replaced it with some bad digital shots in some places). It was trippy, to say the least. If you have the DVD there's behind-the-scenes footage of the amazing miniature sets they created for some scenes (such as the destruction of the church) and I shot a lot of the video used in that BTS section, and it was so much fun watching them shoot all the miniature sequences. Yeah, not Arnold's best film by a long shot, but definitely entertaining in its own way.
This was supposed to be Arnold's comeback movie, and it fell miserably hard at the box office. It's an okay time waster, but far below what Arnold brought back in the day.
Dear mister Korey, Martin and Billy. Always love to watch your reviews. Would like to know if you're interested in doing the three live action TMNT movies from the 90's. Perhaps the first two as retro reviews and the third as bad review. Yours sincerely, Botsy Collins
I saw this movie in the theater on the first day it was released, and it was on my birthday. My brother, my cousin and I got blunted in the parking lot before we went in the theater to watch it. This movie wasn't that great, but we were laughing the entire time. The quote that had us laughing the most was when Arnold was in the church telling everybody to get out, the delivery was hilarious. Ha ha ha!
This movie is really bad but in kinda a fun way. If you wanna see Arnold play a Max Payne esc character fighting Satan with some bonkers late 90s esc stuff. Its fun. Fun fact Sam Raimi of the Evil Dead movies was one of the Director's considered for this film before Peter Hyams became the final Director.
Movies that are made to cash in on a certain hype or excitement are usually mediocre. In 1999 there were a lot of terrible end of the world movies. These type of moviea are usually made in a hurry and it's screenwriters write out of excitment, not any professionalism. We see this with The Omen remake in 2006 and the 2012 movie.
> In 1999 there were a lot of terrible end of the world movies. Thankfully they were forgotten quickly as most people consider 1999 to be one of the greatest years in film.
Love Arnold. So of course I went saw this as teenager IN THEATER. Fellas, I went through the 5 steps of grieving afterwards. In the end I had to accept that Arnold may be passed his prime.... Regardless, I'm on board for Conan 3 or terminator 10.
I saw parts of this movie as a kid and never knew what it was called, until now lol, the only part I remember is Arnold shooting that guy in the arm who he thinks is possessed and calls him a pussy 🤣
A couple of months ago I saw the end of End Of Days on tv when Arnold jumped onto that sword to keep himself from violating Ronin Tunney’s character, I thought as he jumped, “YOU AHR NOT MY HOUSEKEEPAHHH!!!” 🙃
This movie makes me want to rewatch The Devil’s Advocate and/or Nostalgia Critic’s review of this 🎥. Oh speaking of Gabriel Byrne, Cool World next lol!
Udo Kier was also in Rob Zombie Halloween [2007] Remake and he had a small cameo in the movie role and also Rob Zombie has a song in End of Days [1999] too and its called Superbeast
Funniest part of the movie is the albino homeless guy on the train. He puts out his hand smiling. The girl gives him some change and he carries on looking at her smiling, creeping her out then drops the line that should of been the caption for this movie🤣🤣🤣 “ he’s gonna fuck you Christine…can you see him? Can you see him? That scene had me laughing so much, I nearly past out.
@@alekesam Well if you heard that Sam Raimi, Guillermo Del Toro, and Marcus Nispel (director of the 2003 TCM and 2009 F13 remakes) were considered as directors for this movie, you would say he was the wrong director.

Dear mister Korey, Martin and Billy. Always love to watch your reviews. Would like to know if you're interested in doing the three live action TMNT movies from the 90's. Perhaps the first two as retro reviews and the third as bad review. Yours sincerely, Botsy Collins
Also yeah - I guess Devil can't teleport, he must go extremly slow, because they think it's more "menacing" that way.
Any possibility on getting a Tremors review? would love to hear their thoughts on it
I watch these just to listen to Billy laughing.
robin tunney is one woman whom time cannot touch. she's still looking so fine after 20 years
Hell yeah! A friend with good taste! Cheers to you, mate. 🥂
Hell yeah bro you got that right that for sure
This was one of my Favorite Arnold movies just because of all the quotable Arnie lines that came out of it.
Choir Boy line
The Arnold impressions kill me every time!!😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But hey, I still have a soft spot for this film, even though it's not among Schwarzenegger's best in his filmography.
Besides, this film came out during the Y2K nonsense.
@Jo Ol EXACTLY! 💯
Ha ha ha!
I think that movie is fun guys. Rob Zombie and the OST rocks.
i mean cmon guys...arnold fights the damn devil in this movie. not followers of, but the actual satan. what other action star can make that claim?
Keanu Reeves Constantine
Watched this movie in the theaters and loved it back then. Sure iam not gonna defend it like its a good movie but i enjoyed it.
For such a dark movie, End of Days was freakin’ hilarious! >_
On IMDB, it says the director of photography shot scenes too dark, which led to the editorial difficulties
I've watched this movie more times than I care to admit :x
Me 2
@nemo pouncey that one had potential. But ended up being a huge let down
Movies that are made to cash in on a certain hype or excitement are usually mediocre. In 1999 there were a lot of terrible end of the world movies. These type of moviea are usually made in a hurry and it's screenwriters write out of excitment, not any professionalism.
We see this with The Omen remake in 2006 and the 2012 movie.
The Omen remake was pretty poor.
> In 1999 there were a lot of terrible end of the world movies.
Thankfully they were forgotten quickly as most people consider 1999 to be one of the greatest years in film.
Just gotta say, robin tunney is not the best actress, but there is a lot about her I do like, plus I'm very attracted to her, but her personality too
this movie is criminally underrated if you ask me and not bad at all
I'm surprised y'all didn't talk about their explanation for why the devil came specifically in "1999"...that scene in this movie is comedy gold
The ending of the second millennium and entering the third.
I have to disagree this movie is not awful. The movie is enjoyable and a classic.
a classic 😂. good joke
@@djangofett4879 yep a classic. If they air it on cable tv, I would stop charging channels and watch it for the 17th time.
Honestly I would believe Arnold could be a prophecy hero lol
8:55 so how bad are korys smoothies?
I don't want UA-cam Premium, I don't want to spend money on an ad blocker, but do I really deserve an unskippable ad every 3 goddamn minutes?
Ad blockers are free. If an ad blocker is asking you to pay upfront you're getting ripped off.
Love Arnold. So of course I went saw this as teenager IN THEATER.
Fellas, I went through the 5 steps of grieving afterwards. In the end I had to accept that Arnold may be passed his prime....
Regardless, I'm on board for Conan 3 or terminator 10.
I remember when I saw this at the theater. I actually thought that it was pretty good.
LMAO! Review Commando next. One of Arnold’s greatest movies. That movie is so funny. Billy would laugh so much at that film.
I saw parts of this movie as a kid and never knew what it was called, until now lol, the only part I remember is Arnold shooting that guy in the arm who he thinks is possessed and calls him a pussy 🤣
Korey, if you are looking for bad movies, review the "Ugandan Action Movie" 😂😂
A couple of months ago I saw the end of End Of Days on tv when Arnold jumped onto that sword to keep himself from violating Ronin Tunney’s character, I thought as he jumped, “YOU AHR NOT MY HOUSEKEEPAHHH!!!” 🙃
This one's a guilty pleasure for me. I still love it haha
Looks like they tried to make Gabriel Byrne seem like Pacino in Devil’s Advocate.
Just made it to the end of the video. They basically said the same thing. 😂
I mean as a story it's no more far fetched than most things in the bible.
I'm trying to think of an actor's portrayal of the Devil that I didn't like lol, even Will Smith was interesting in that Collin and Russel movie
Like you said just like lethal weapon he lost his wife but a daughter too lol. That's cool scene where the devil tempts him and talks about god lol.
This movie makes me want to rewatch The Devil’s Advocate and/or Nostalgia Critic’s review of this 🎥. Oh speaking of Gabriel Byrne, Cool World next lol!
Please do as many Arnold Schwarzenegger movies as possible 😂
I never saw the movie, but I remember reading how Arnold Schwarzenegger said Peter Hyams was the wrong director to make it
Really? Peter's made some pretty good flicks. Did Arnie say why he thought he was wrong for the movie?
I wish Sam Raimi had did it.
@@alekesam Well if you heard that Sam Raimi, Guillermo Del Toro, and Marcus Nispel (director of the 2003 TCM and 2009 F13 remakes) were considered as directors for this movie, you would say he was the wrong director.
@@anubusx Sam Raimi n Arnie on this would've been gold.
@@brandonspain12345 Oh wow. Yeah, didn't know that. All three of them would've been fantastic choices. Why'd the Suits choose Hyams instead?
Martin: He’s evil, though, Korey!
