I'm from England and was fortunate to have checked out Antelope Canyon mid day in summer where it was quite magical. I timed it perfect as you get a shard of sun light through a hole in the roof. Also checked out Horse shoe canyon while staying at Page. Much prefer Lake Powell over Lake Mead. Just watch for those sand storms which can hit you in seconds. I went for a swim in Lake Powell and I was watching the mountains to the North and they started getting fuzzy. OMG, seconds later I couldn't even see the shore and there was so much chop in the water it was quite scary as I was visiting on my own. I kept the sand blasting to my right cheek and kept on swimming and found shoreline but boy o-boy. I don't know how common they are but, what doesn't kill you. Was quite an experience. I checked out Rainbow bridge too, quite a boat ride from the marina.
Nice video and reminds me of my trip! I went to Antelope Canyon last year with my family, and I booked tickets with NVSTARR. This company has specialized tour guide
Ieva Zarina It is called Wahweap Marina RV and Campground. It is near Page and inside of some park, so there is a fee to enter the park on top of the campsite fee. It is the best campground we have ever stayed on. Nice showers, wifi, beautiful views.
@@TrekkingTheGlobe Thanks! Will check it out! Have you seen any critters etc?- spiders , scorpions there? I have read that this park is full with different poisonous stuff :) Like A few venomous animals live in the park, including rattlesnakes, scorpions, and black widow spiders...so its got us thinking
Hey I was wondering what tour company you guys used for Antelope Canyon? I've been told that you should reserve far in advance but saw that which ever company you chose was able to accommodate you quickly.
Review Of The NERDS I believe it was called Navajo Tours. We didn’t reserve a spot, and just showed up. It was in April, off-season though. Not sure how it would be in the summer.
I'm from Australia been to USA twice in the last 3 years but never seen the places i wanted to see like Horseshoe bend and Antelope Canyon.I've just seen the major cities like LA,San Fran,Vegas ,NYC,Detroit,Chicago,Memphis
Utah and Arizona definitely have some beautiful natural places. Highly recommend if you ever wish to escape the cities. We are thinking of visiting Australia for the first time this year. Any recommendations on where to go?

Oh man! I am glad we did not encounter that. Does not sound enjoyable. Lake Powell is indeed a beautiful area. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! Thanks for sharing! I'm planning a trip to the grand canyon & now really want to add those two spots to the itinerary!
Thank you! If you are in that area, you should definitely stop by these places as they are close and can be done in one day.

@@ievazarina5807 We have not seen anything like that, though we visited in early April and things may be different at other times of year.

NO fence!?
Y K I know. Looking down the edge definitely takes your breath away. Feels much more rugged and untamed this way.
I can only speak a little English. This place is very frightening and beautiful 🤩
