On July 4, Louisiana will become the 29th state to allow residents to carry a concealed weapon without a permit.

The people who want to carry guns already do, legally or otherwise. Is there some rash scourge of ticketing Louisianans for illegally carrying guns that I dont know about?
Seems to me that this law directly takes into account the circumstances of environment and mind of impressionable young men and the cops who shoot them.
A lot easier to not fire cops when they can say the "perp had a gun" regardless if it was legal to carry or not.
