The 2 gentlemen were the best customers! People who can laugh it off & see the humor in things are so much more likeable than the entitled, short-fused customers.
The oriental lady was really funny because she wasn't getting the idea of being on candid camera. The gentlemen and the other ladies were real really great about it
@@danjones5161 I don’t know... for me it’s this, or when the waiter says “we figured out all you need is 10 inches”...lol. Or the Asian lady.. “I DONT CAAAAARE”!!!!!!!!
This was so very funny! 😂 I'm surprised Peter didn't have the waiter tell them they had an option.....use the chained silver wear, or if they prefer, be chained to the chair and use unchained silver wear.🤣
Yes. I was thinking that you can tell this is old. Years ago people would just go along with something like this and try to make the best of it--try not to rock the boat. Today, people would throw a fit and start swearing and shouting threats. This wouldn't be a FUNNY video if this was done today.
@@kenthomson9562 Its funny you say that considering it would be the exact opposite. Millennials and gen zers would just sit and eat quietly because they dont want to treat any minimum wage worker badly. Gen x and baby boomers would be the ones crying like the Karens they are.
@@kenthomson9562 Millennials are the new scapegoat. And any behavior displayed are the result of the conditions IMPOSED on them by the generation before them. And the one before that.
Sadly,. the wonderful restaurant and the iconic Sportsman's Lodge is being torn down. Thanks Peter for reviving an old classic and giving it a great sendoff with your prank video.
The man that kept laughing was most entertaining . Plus the Asian woman lol. She has probably never heard Of CC …….one of your best yet. The restaurant ones are always the best ❤

Prostitutes in the Philippines have this joke about Korean guys. Koreans are their most frequent and loyal customers. The joke is 2 + 2 = 3. That is 2 inches plus 2 minutes equals 3000 pesos or about $60.
I saw a coin on the pavement last week, started bending over to pick it up, realised it was glued down and walked off sheepishly, hoping I hadn't just been filmed. lol.
With the massive increase in shoplifting in 21'st century USA, the idea of restaurants chaining the silverware to the tables seems less and less like a joke.
Reminds me of my mother in law who past this year, she was 94. When she would come down and visit from Ohio, every time we ate out she would take all the silverware off the table and when we got home she would wash it and put it in my drawer! I didn't realise that she was doing that for awhile! Just was wondering why I had so many knives, forks and spoons! RIP ma💗
I like that one big guy just laughing his head off , if people really steal silverware at a restaurant , then I say charge them extra , the Chinese woman saying I don't care who it's from ! 😄😂
The oriental lady got pissed because of the silverware being chained! Hahaha 🤣 🤣🤣🤣🥲. But I don’t think she knew about this show Candid Camera. lol 😂 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣. Besides this show, I watch “Gags Just for Laughs,” from Quebec, Canada which is also hilarious watching the people’s faces and how they react to different pranks. These two shows are great 👍 makes you laugh 😂
Or he might say "the knives are chained down for our customer's protection, ever since last month when a woman threw coffee in her husband's face and he grabbed the knife and stabbed her in the throat".
Yet another excellent Candid Camera production. If I was one of the producers I would have done only two things differently. Suppose one of the customers asked for a set of silverware that wasn't chained to the table. The waiter would then mention that such a thing would require an immediate advance cash (not credit) deposit from the customer for collateral. Tentatively speaking I would say $30. Also, the producers could have had each piece of silverware hooked up to both a chain and a mini padlock underneath the table. The waiter could the more easily explain to the customers how the silverware was sent to the wash after meals.
I would love to eat at a restaurant that did this! The idea is brilliant. Come to Cheyenne and do a restaurant here. I will eat there as much as possible. This is a ha-ha experience. 11-6-2021
People seemed so much kinder and more tolerant in the 80s. I think we were better people in those times. Now everyone is angry, probably due to the influence of social media and legacy media encouraging us all to hate one another for our differing political views and immutable characteristics.
I wish we could have seen the reveal of the old guys. I have a feeling they would have rolled with laughter.

I would hardly call the short-fused customers entitled from what we see in the video but their reaction was funny to watch.

The concept of microtransactions was unimaginable until the mid-2000s.
Back in 80’s, I ate at a famous bbq joint in Lockhart, Texas. The knives were chained to the tables, for real.
